Op Amps: Precision Clamper

A clamper is used to create a DC offset for an AC input such that the output of the circuit is entirely positive or negative. This offset is equal to the peak value of the input signal. An op amp precision clamper practically removes the error caused by the forward potential of a diode, which is a potential issue with passive clampers.
