Wow, I appreciate the depth of your video series and your approachable and clear teaching style! The students at MCC have a great opportunity to learn, and so do the rest of us thanks to your dedication to teach. Thank you!

I never realized it was an early voltage issue. We forget it took decades to reach this point and we learn it in a 1 hour class lecture. This stuff is so cool.

Gr8 wilson mirror explanation ; The way you shifted the circuit from diode based to improved wilson mirror is just fab improving accuracy every time

This makes sense, this way of explanation! Working my way trough the videos! Meanwhile, I installed TINA-TI. I wanted to know what the mirror does when left and right side have different supply voltages, instead of both 10V. I gave right side it's own supply voltage and played around, from 5V upto 25V: still a nice current mirror! Kind regards.

Later I also did put a load resistor at the right side above the both rightside transistors: still a nice current mirror!

@@cbc7599 Yes, it's wonderful being able to quickly experiment with circuits in the simulator. "What if" experiments are much quicker than trying to do it with physical circuits in lab.

Would be cool to compare the characteristics of this to a widlar mirror?

Thank you. I was uncomfortable with the asymmetry of the Wilson Mirro but feel better with the last version; very elegant. How does it compare to the 'Ring of Two'? I've used it a couple of times in a circuit I designed but I'm not certain as to how it works (I just know it does).

I am not familiar with the phrase. I'll have to look it up.

TINA-TI, a free version of TINA which is available from Texas Instruments.
