it's a big thing in the UK with the DJ's at outside summer fesitvals, I always see 2 sides of electro swing, on one side you got the hipsters in their 30s dancing to it with a plastic cup of beer in their hand, and that's sort of acceptable I guess, sadly on the other side you got parents at these festivals trying to make their kids dance to it and that latter ruins it for me, yes it can be seen as one of those 'all ages' genres, but I just cringe when I see kids dancing to it. ruins the coolness of it.

So is it a case of swingbeat is very difficult to mix or is it swing dj's can't mix? I'm 40 minutes in and there's yet to be, what I would call mix. I've listened to loads recently and so far I've only found one dj which actually mixes tunes and doesn't just start the next tune when the last ends.
