This advancement of Divi integrating Gutenberg blocks is a gem. Congratulations to the developers. The AI part is also incredible; I can't wait to use it in a production version. There's only one thing missing: flexbox. It's still one of the few options that Divi lacks and causes clients to switch to Elementor. If the developers integrate that into Divi, it will be, hands down, the best page builder of all time.

I am so excited about Divi 5.0!! This will change the Block-Editors space ;)! One thing I would mention is, that your offer of Lifetime Payment is very nice and for those one who bought it, you are the lucky ones :D! But for the developing and the future of Divi I would recommend to cancel this option with the release of Divi 5.0. The customers who bought the Lifetime Package will remain but all the new customers should be in a monthly or yearly payment. I know it sounds harsh but it is necessary for staying alive as a company. If you leave the lifetime payment you will get more and more customers, but you dont get more “money”. As more customers elegante themes get, as more support and updates are needed. Its just my opinion and I hope to see Divi healthy rising into the future.

Please just improve the blog module... either add more modules that can query post types and taxonomies, or, if you really don't want to create more blog related modules, please improve the current blog module to be able to query and filter much more complex post types and taxonomies, and add more feature on CSS or layout section. Mixing blocks and modules in the same page will surely helpful and extend divi compatibility

There is a free Divi extension if you google "How To Show Custom Post Types By Taxonomies In The Divi Blog Module", it solves this, you could make it yourself too, copy the existing blog module & modify, but the free one is from a great site & already works. Given the new Divi5 is just around the corner... I suspect all the focus on new expanded features will be going there & Div4 will be feature locked with only bug/security fixes soon, if not already.

@@macronomicus Finally, a tried and true solution. I've tested it, and the filter function works. Unfortunately, the plugin doesn't seem to work with Divi default grid layout CSS, and the filter function also doesn't show up in visual builder preview. But at least it does work in the real front end. Anyway still, I hope this filter based on category and taxonomies defined by CPT can be part of Divi builder out of the box. Actually, wordpress itself should have been integrating Custom Post Types since the beginning right out of the box and not relying on plugins. Because this is the core feature of what a CMS is, and this feature alone can be a deal breaker when people compare Divi to other 'professional' website front end builder such as bubble or any other. That's why I mentioned this in hoping for it to be improved in Divi 5 along with other new fundamental improvements.

@@sathyath84 There is another way, the way I prefer, if you're wanting to only display related posts on their Category Page, thats built into the divi blog module & possible without an additional plugin, & works with custom post types & taxonomies too. Use the Divi Theme Builder UI, Add a New Template > for Template Settings Choose from [Archive Pages] options named after your Custom Taxonomy, such as [All *YourCustomTaxonomyName* Pages] then after you click [Create Template] button at bottom, in the ui you have the template there, disable the green global body section with the 3dots button menu, then it should be grey, edit that grey Custom Body with the pencil button, in there add whatever you want plus add a blog module, in the blog module settings you'll now have an option in the Content section [Posts For Current Page], change that to [Yes] & it will only show the posts related to the URL you're viewing, so for each category archive page you now only show those relevant posts, & it works with custom post types & custom taxonomies. Hope that helps, if you tinker around you'll see its possible. The Theme Builder template system is nice & can do a lot.

Hopefully you added Dynamic content to the video and audio Moduls. So it could be sensfull used in the theme builder for podcasting and things like that. A "single Blogpost" module would also be nice. You can do something like that with a workaround, if you make an extra category for that post only but if you use that more than 5 times it is not good for the overall category structure.

Found this on accident, I was playing around with the code of one of your example extensions in your github & didnt realize it was for a whole new version of divi, and thats why there were dependencies not in my divi theme 🤣 Now I know. When can we get our hands on the beta version? I looked in the website it wasnt apparent there, and i am logged in to my membership. Anyway, sounds great, & judging by how the example extension is constructed I much prefer to work that way, its going to be a great upgrade & garner a lot more activity.

In all fairness it has been announced that they would be moving pretty stringently on the core remake before introducing new features… with the exception of AI (which is understandable from a competitive pov).

I am anxiously waiting on the copyright claims. How about better dynamic data support? How about css variables? How about (custom) attributes? How about Global css? The bottom line is divi is becoming a tool for lazy and hobby people.

I don't know if I can wait that long anymore. I redesigned most of my websites on Kadence and have a few remaining that will be so hard to build them again on another platform. I wish I knew if Divi is coming this year or in 2026 or when Jesus comes back.

Right now this moment my Divi Builder is freezing up in Chrome. I LOVE Divi but it's incredibly slow STILL, even after years of using it. Very frustrating. Divi also slows down the load time of all of my pages. I seriously do LOVE Divi, but just not sure why it's still so slow ALL THE TIME.

This is great, but Nick, can someone solve my problem, i reported bug to ET team over 1.5 year ago. Aknowledged by your team, and yesterday i got again same answer after 1.5 year, copy paste: "Thanks for your patience. This is a known issue in the posts where width doesn't work properly in some cases, and our developers are aware of it, and are working on fixing it. Sorry for the inconvenience." - i need help, and i cant get past 1 level support, on important bug on big portal, i just cant debug myself. Can anyone in ET read my ticket and problem and try to get to some new answer.
