16 audio tracks, that's a lot, and makes this MK2 an impressive piece of gear. I definitely want it. 1000 euros, meanwhile, is by far too expensive and i'm gonna wait to get one on the second-hand market.

A few ok ones but generally pretty mid/underwhelming. They should be getting people like EZBOT, Red Means Recording, SURCO, Substan, Cuckoo etc to make the demo patterns.

Would be super cool if they did that! I am generally not expecting much from factory patterns, so I don't personally find them underwhelming, and I think they are good enough at showing what the DT2 can do. I also think there's a lot of interesting high quality samples on the machine, which I am super happy with.

IMHO, a few are good, but the majority aren't . just noise thrown at the listener. really really bad ( IMHO ) . I like the unit, though. But 1000 bucks... c'mon

@@milk_bath It's just my opinion . I like the DT 2. I think it's a great device. I owned a DT OG in the past. default demo patterns where way better than these, _imho_

It demonstrates its potential. If it's too amazingly cool, it can work in the favor of either encouraging or deflating the new user. If the demos are just alright, it can lend the user to feel proud of their work imho.
