Robert I love it a lot, it’s the only thing I take home from the studio every day and I’ve actually produced lots with it. Here’s an example of one of my cycles-heavy tracks: soundcloud.com/trevoga/body-harvest Everything here (except the vocal sample, rhodes and real cymbals in the intro) is recorded from the cycles through a small amp for distortion. The one thing I will say is that the sounds of chords, which I’ve been using a lot, aren’t very versatile. It’s all very chime and FM bell sounding. But everything else on the cycles is incredible. The sequencer is amazing, I’ve been making 128-step long melodies by making steps after 64 one step too late, nudging them back all the way and using the condition to make them play on every second play only (and the first half of the melody plays on every first play of two). Anyway great stuff lots of fun highly recommend!

I have a crucial question, I'm wondering what's your move with the "Page" button at 0:46 right before the hi hats start: I see you mute the kick, then unmute it but right between those things you mess with the track + page button, and suddenly the HH start... Nice video, I saw you did a video with the Division Department 01 IV. I'm about the buy my first drum synthesizer. What I want to do is design my own drum percussion sounds. I want to create something unique. I don't really need the sequencer because I'll use a DAW or external sequencer for that. Between the Model Cycle and Division Department 01 iv, what do you think will be better for sound design ? Thank you.

How would you say it compares to the Digitone for drums, some says it lacks depth, so what's your take ? I use a kick preset called CRUNCHY KICK SM and haven't heard something similar from M:C, it's a bit overkill to use DN only for drums but I can't see myself compromising quality just to save 300 bucks, kick drum especially is too important for Techno.

you can slow each tracks sequence down to like 1/2 time 1/4 time etc. that my guess how he did it.

Another way is to use probabilities, you can set it so that step only plays once out of 4 times.
