Most people don't get how serious the Monomachine is as a standalone. It seems like most people don't get how phenomenal the Monomachine is as synth either. Even with all the Elektron machines a modular and tons of other synths at my disposal the Monomachine remains one of my favorites
@jazzlicka7 жыл бұрын
Likewise , I have the octatrack , machine drum and a4 and the mono is the one I will never part with , monstrous synth. Most never took the 6 month get to know period to truly understand it
@Matthewsavant7 жыл бұрын
@jazzlicka that’s a good point. I have all 5 boxes (Octatrack, Analog rytm, Analog four, machinedrum and monomachine) and out of the 5 the monomachine stands alone as the box that I really couldn’t find anything on the market to replace it. I love all the Elektrons and they all have their places in sound design, studio work and performance but the monomachine when in the right hands is an absolute beast

I started with the digitone recently and I'm amazed by how insane the original boxes were. I want them so bad, but at the same time I don't want to get older hardware that may go bad on me at any time. :/

@@albionpatterns3986 you're fuckin dumb. I don't think she decided to throw herself off a balcony. I don't even know that we have the full story. If you're gonna criticize SOPHIE for traveling, you better criticize the millions of other people who do the same if not worse, who probably don't wear masks and don't follow guidelines, AND criticize the elected officials who even allow it in the first place. It’s funny how the one that sold least on release is now the most sought after. I guess scarcity is always going to inflate value. But it is certainly a very unique machine. Had a chance to buy 1 0f the 500 keyboard versions for 2k but was tied up paying off installments on an interface and Isla s2400. Whenever I have that kinda cash it seems the only available are double that 🤦🏻

Yeah, I Love watching peepz when they actually KNOW what this Thing can Do! Even if geared up with Specci 2, DSI Rev2 and a whole Modular System, this Beast is still unbeatable. Gladly got mine for 800,00$ just before pricing exploded. BUT EVEN FOR 3.000 I will never let go of it! The Audio-Thru sequenced..so much that can do, even proper remixing is possible. The MnM will be buried with me, surely!
