Hi, guys. I'm back with mooooar Elektronomia.
I'll be honest...I don't really like United very much; Elektronomia didn't do a very good job of mixing in that song. However, when I noticed that United and Energy shared the same leads and bass line...well, you know what that means. Gotta mash them together and see if they sound good!
I think they do. I hope you guys do, too!

I've tried it before, but I can't really make a version that I'm satisfied with while just having both songs play simultaneously. They share similar leads, which is good, but the differing bass lines provides a challenge. To make it work, I'd have to do so in a much different way than I usually do my mashups.

First, not all songs can be feasibly mashed up with other songs. The bass line is usually the determining factor in deciding whether a song can be combined with another one. If they're the same bass line, you have a good shot at mashing them. As for fading them, it's usually trial and error. A general rule of thumb is that if your mix sounds good to you with earphones and with speakers, then the mix indeed is good. It also helps to get a second opinion and see what they say.
