Element 3D | Character Animation - After Effects Tutorial

In this tutorial lets see how to import obj sequence or character animation inside adobe after effects using element 3d plugin. Blender is only used to convert .fbx to obj sequence since element 3d doesnt allow .fbx format. Am really lucky to find a video on how to animate character in element 3D from Costa VFX. I have watched many tutorials regarding the same but only costa VFX solved all my doubts or questions that used to raise for myself. so just wanted to pass on this useful information to my lovely subscribers. 3D model with animation is downloaded from mixamo. We can do that by matching the obj sequence with the actual character from live footage... Bit complicated though...

Yoo sorry i'm currently working on an animated short with E3D but i face issues when i transform the postition of my sequence within the element 3D setup...if i transfrom it outside E3D with the plugin options its fine...but it difficult for me because i'm using a pretty heavy and wide environment setup and it's hard to transform outside the e3d plugin...do you know why...the sequence keeps distorting upwards

Hi... Have you tried placing the elements within Aux channels in element 3d...if not, place the elements (3d objects) separately in Aux channels and animate them within Aux channels... Thank you...

@@Baluprime okay lemme explain...You know the window that pops up when you tap the scene setup....now you can import models and setup your scene there but the issue now is that when i import the sequence in there and drag the the position upwards like high.....when the sequence is playing the model starts jumping up and down and not in place....because the sequence is an animation of the model standing up...but whilst stnading he's jerking up and down whilst diisplacing higher but i guess i'll just place it in a seperate group and transform it from outside the scene setup, thanks for responding!

It might be gpu issue bro... Clear all the memory and cache in AE ( EDIT - PURGE - Delete memory and cache) and try once again bro...
