There are actually a ton of good upgrades out there made just for them if you know where to look (SOR,SMS,IERC,Beeftubes,to name a few). I've got a Gatekeeper which is the same rig with a cage in place of the body. I didn't go to crazy with the upgrades, but did all the ones that I thought mattered most like an SOA with 4-link up front, 3300kv Axe system, 777 servo, heavyweight CI 2 stage foams and heavy at axle level. Switched alot of plastic for aluminum and added brass in the places where it would have a positive effect (none above axle level or in rotational mass). It was heavy enough so I changed out all the drivetrain gearing for Factory Team steel gears and bearings in the transmission and the axles. Finished it off with MIP driveshafts, VP Method 310 black beadlocks/Mickey Thompson Baja Pro-X 1.9 x 4.75 tires. Wait,........ maybe I did go a little far? It's OK though, my addiction made me do it. Good video buddy, I hadn't realized that you didn't have an Element until this vid.

I got a green one last week. She’s got bit more speed than expected stock. Works great for me. More of a trail truck guy than serious crawler. Was going to put an axe 550 system in it but maybe just leave it be

I love my ecto it is my favorite crawler. I put a Holmes 2200kv revolver and copperhead esc with a Holmes shv800 servo I have 2 sets of wheels and tires with CI foams predator compound krawlers and trenchers put some brass on the axels and put the bowhouse gear adapter thing so it has 32 pitch gearing now and man I really believe I could compete in comps with it and hold with custom built crawlers.

I didn’t like the way jumps so easy in reverse. I put a hobby wing 1080 in it and it crawls so nice now. So controlled. Can’t wait to see how that new motor works

Element has a really good platform with every truck in their range interchangeable and being able to morph into a very personalised rig at low cost. I'd probably gear down to around 12 tooth pinion when fitting that spektrum motor but not telling you how to suck eggs mate. I've still got to pick a 12tooth for my Gatekeeper or swap to 32p gear set. New studio is looking more complete every new video brother. Keep em coming. Cheers 👍

Running my stock electronics - I only get 2 beeps with a 3s battery. Remember if that’s normal or not? Wouldn’t think so but all 3 cells are discharging as they should 🤷🏼‍♂️

There is a program card for that esc. The reverse is so jumpy on it, I had to get one just to turn that down some.

Reverse is super jumpy! I'm going to go with the brushless system for now. I'm hooked on the smooth sensored power.

I like the configuration of this rig with the live axles and longer wheelbase but the body is not very interesting to me given it’s not licensed.
