Great video. Your lady is a heck of a driver. It must be fun to share your hobby with your significant other

Your torque twist from your element when you tried the steep part was because your truck is way to flexy. For the weight you've added the rear should have some stiffer springs. My 10.2 jeep used to do the same thing and I added stiffer springs to the rear and it kept my front planted better.
@RCPropaganda4 жыл бұрын
I will have to look into that. Thanks

@@RCPropaganda Element RC also offers some of the chassis components in a stiffer version of their composite. A few aftermarkets also make parts to help. RC Review mentioned them when he built the Builder's Kit version of the truck that I happened to be watching the other day. It definitely should help with the flex. Nice comparison - I'm a racer coming back after almost 20 years, but the crawling segment of the hobby sure looks fun!

thta's pretty crazy on the element mang, mine climbs frickin fantastic, i run mine in a droop setup maybe you should try that;)

Droop all day on the crawl rigs. So nasty in my opinion, and we crawl for days.
@Ferra39044 жыл бұрын
Ya that surprised me!!! I'd still get the enduro because of the aftermarket parts availability. You'll get it figured out and it will pull better lines! That's the fun of it!

Interesting comparison and good to see the HPI still getting use. I've recently bought an RTR FJ and really like it so good to see some pro level guys still using them. Slowly modding mine to resemble your SBK more. They do seem very capable when up against over rigs. Thanks for the content bud, from Wales.

Rear shock angles creating a soft twisting tail. Same problem with my 10.2 shock mount mod. Try secondary external pen spring mod.

One thing about element is the cg is too high..u can lower the ride height and thicker shock oil..I can see your front shocks collar is so much down..I don’t use preload for rock climb..use shock keys or pen spring mod or shorter shock to lower the cg or just change the chassis..😁..I’m also quite piss off with it initially..basically it’s a trail truck not so much on rock climb out of the box..
@alfgro214 жыл бұрын
Take some preload of the front shocks, 3mm or 5mm max is a good setup, rear suspension is too soft, change too a stiffer spring or change the position on the shock towers a litle more uprise, y use 25wt all around, i would try 35wt for your setup

That strange, I thought the element was going to whoop the hip, but the hip stood up to the test, I noticed the element didnt drop it wheel on a few occasions it seemed to be stuck up in the air, it was trying to flip over backwards a few times, I'm not sure whether the weight is accurate over the wheels, great driving from both of you, stay safe both of you, 😀😀😀
