starters: charge, battle stance (so rend can crit), rend, imp (for spell power scaling talents from int) // Ability: mortal strike, hateful strike, frostbrand weapon (to increase forst, fire and nature damage by 15% with talent and REs), SMF // talents: elemental rend x3, spell shredder, in for the kill, overheated strikes (giga dam from mortal strikes) OR bloodletting (aoe spread rip for giga aoe dmg). Gotta highroll for core: maelstrom wep, frostbolt, firebolt, lightbolt (and many more, but they are all doable). This is a giga hard build to roll for max dmg :)

Bloodletting for aoe? We dont generate combo points and event if we do have hatt its only 1 cp every 3 SEC. Hellscream would be nice especially if IT would proc taste for blood capstone. Or whirlwind talent that applies rend after chsrge and colossus smash.

You only need 1cp rip to spread 5 rends (rend, hydra venom, 3x ele rend) and watch mass aoe dot burn :), its glorious@@venarioo

Glad You like the vids. Those are more of starter journeys and figuring nice ways of playing, rather then builds as full builds require much more time to invest. Still looking for own playstyle hehe

I really like how you explain stuff in your videos and how you think stuff works it helps me understand the game better. I'll surely test this build. However if you pick the AoE bleed shout will it apply elemental rend for all enemies? - Dentaer

I tested it on other character and unfotunately not. Same goes for taste for blood. It doesnt proc it :(

Looks more like a SMF build more than elemental Rend. You definitely need the storm strike modifiers and like someone else said the frostbrand version is also really good. I probably wouldn’t even bother trying to roll this if you don’t have all 3 elemental rends carded. -Chowda

I mean its still fun to Play IMO. Also its pretty fast paced as well thanks to hateful Strike gcd reduction. I changed to strenght after the vid and got straight up 1k dps gain. Rolled whirlwind as well and aoe got up to 7k so pretty nice starter if You have someluck along the way.

I don’t even play on elune and I know Fel infused weapon is broken af on that server. Literally every build runs it and it’s always doing top dps on the meters regardless of investment

Maybe i can give you an ideea but you can do a Primordial Fury build, might be neat and saw it do decent dmg in raids - Albote

Whenever you theorycrafting about procs: always keep in mind - Procs can not proc procs. Therefor Taste for blood can not proc FiW.

But from what ive seen in the test, IT does. Its counted as a melee ability do IT does proc.

​@@venariooRend procs FiW, so does MS/Hateful (with smf twice obv) but Taste for Blood capstone does not proc FiW. It only resets the rend dot duration. After using MS or Hateful you get 2 FiW procs from smf. Also dont have spell shredder but im pretty sure it also can not proc FiW nor any passive dmg talent. If so its a bug and will get fixed at some point.

i dont have fel infused weapon, is flametonue weapon an option? Or can I go with Poisons on weapons to use Toxic Strike? I dont have Dreadnought and i have 4 normal skill cards. had to move taste for blood 3/3 to the gold card row which is only 1/3. So nows its spell shreader, in for the kill, elemental rend (normal) and Maelstorm weapon, taste for blood (1/3) and toxic strikes as gold cards. for each video i am always missing 1-2 cards or have too many regular or dont have 3/3 in something. i get RNG but i either play and enjoy a half arsed build or dont play the fun stuff you all play....S9 has disappointed me no matter how much gold i spend on cards. Sorry, went from a question to vent....

Imo its better to use windfury then, but without 3/3 taste for blood dont event start this. Its capstone is too valuable. If You really want this then give up spell shredder. I know how You feel Bro. I still miss a lot of cards for stuff i would want to check.

I think hellscream is not that great. The dot IT applies is not rend itself but hellscream, thus far IT doesnt proc taste for blood capstone. I think its better to go with whirlwind and talent that makes IT apply rend after chsrge or colossus smash.

Fel Infused Weapon, you can't buy it for darkmoon tickets, and it's enormously overpowered for every melee build. Meanwhile they dilly about and tweak other abilities by +/-5% and refuse to touch it. Obvious cash grab.

Stopped watching at fel infused weapon. Literally every thing melee build RELIES on it to do decent damage except OWTL.

IT is what IT is Man. This build especially relies on it as mamy hits from dual wield proc IT, so its event better.
