I like this approach better. I understand what I’m learning easier! The translation in English throws me off! I want to learn the way it’s spoken . Then I can figure out what it is in English. I learn better with the way you teach in this 3.0 course

Super helpful, thanks 🙂 Side note, I can listen to 10 different Mandarin teachers and hear 人 pronounced differently, it's quite maddening, this Mandarin Chinese approximation of English 'R', which isn't really an R sound, I don't know what it is. 😅

I tried to compile my own HSK1 list into a document to make a study guide, and was bored out of my mind. This course demo was way more entertaining & the example sentences helped a lot. Also the HSK1 list I found is the old 150 words, so is out of date.

I need a native speaker laoshi! I’m just starting to learn Mandarin in my country and my laoshi is a local, childish and doesn’t really know how to teach 😆 Hopefully next month I would get another laoshi! My first laoshi was the worst bcos she didn’t encourage me at all and told me that Mandarin is so hard instead! 😆

With the new HSK 1 500 words. Do you go to HSK 3 next? Or do you still do HSK 2. LOve the new HSK 1

Hello Jose, thank you for your message. The NEW HSK1 now comprises 500 words, incorporating many from the old HSK2 as well as some from the old HSK3. Regarding grammar, the NEW HSK1 also incorporates elements from the old HSK2 and HSK3. In general, it selects the most useful vocabulary and grammar for beginners to achieve more practical results.
