Nice. This was needed for the forms of Elementor. A bit expensive though when you need it for >1 website. Especially comparing it to Elementor itself.

I guess it would depend on what you're looking to achieve on the website. If you're using dynamic data like ACF or PODS, then there are so many tools in this plugin that makes the cost negligible IMHO. This is a pretty specialised tool, but if you compare some of the features on offer to plugins that do only 1 thing (like a lot of forms plugins) the cost really is pretty low.

Great video, I have a question. Can there be conditional logic in the email message? I have a conditional text in the form I don't want to display in the message unless it's passed along or has content. I'm thinking javascript may be the answer.

Will definitely consider it if it goes on sale. Right now it looks like quite a bit is still waiting to be released. Not a heck of a lot of info on the site, either. Some of the widgets I looked at left me wondering what they were even supposed to do. They all need much more detailed descriptions. Does look interesting though. Some very cool ideas on the ones that worked.

How would you populate the options when using a select box rather than just typing it in? You may have 100 different options to choose from, which may update regularly. Not the most efficient option to have to go into elementor and manually change each entry. Would be much better to have another form that enters the entries into a table and you could select a column from that table in "Dynamic" options list. Unless theres something im missing

This might be my answer, your comments would be appreciated. I have an elementor page, three columns. The first column contains a list of vehicles, the second column will display data relating to the vehicle selected, the third column will display a picture of the vehicle. The second and third columns will dynamically change according to the selection made in column one. .

Feature request: Would be great if you can give a value for image on the form. Eg: imagine ask apple or Orange and apple give one as a value and orange gives 10. With this feature for this addon the sky would be the limit....

Very interesting. Adds lots of flexibility to website design for forms. What I would really love to see is how to insert dynamic content into the text field so that the visitor would see content based on their location ... something like ... "If you are looking for a plumber in ______ you cannot go wrong with _______" where the first blank would be filled in with a city name based on the geolocation data from the visitor's browser and the second blank would be filled in based on the value inserted into the first blank. Could you do a video showing what plugins would be needed to do this ... and of course how to use those plugins?

Sounds interesting. I've not really looked at geolocation tools, but my one immediate concern would be if people are using a VPN, that could cause some issues with incorrect or blank content.

@@WPTuts yes a VPN definitely could create false location data ... but no marketing system is perfect. The idea for having geolocation data about a user is for the site to be able to provide more useful content to the visitor... so any marketing system using geolocation needs to allow the user to opt in ... register... and provide either their location or the location data on their smartphone or computer. Of course they means the content really does need to provide value on a local level and not just insert city names or zip codes like I see in MANY ads on my smartphone every day. It use to be that you could pretty well rely on the area code of someone's phone number to route calls to the correct lead purchaser. But today many people keep their cell phone number even when they move to a different state. Area code is no longer as perfect as it use to be for lead distribution. But it is still very useful. I'm sure geolocation based on the IP address of the device could become less effective too if a much larger percentage of the population decides adding a VPN service helps them maintain a bit more of their ever dwindling privacy as we continue to transition into a digital world where everything everyone does is continuously tracked ... But in the meantime it could be a great tool to help localize the content on websites to the local store level... I have not been very successful at tracking down commercially available tools for integrating geolocation data into websites ... so I am wondering if you might be more successful with your much wider access to new website technologies

The logic is provided by Dynamic Content for Elementor which this video covers. Elementor has never had any logic in the forms natively unfortunately.

Thank you, but I still need some help, I you please.... I need to have two dropdown lists. On the first one, user will choose between; Ophthalmology, Dental Care or Plastic Surgery. If the User choose i.e. "Dental Care", the second dropdown list will show ONLY the services of Dental Care, like Dental Implants, Root Canal Surgery and Dentures. Hi Paul. This select field is just half dynamic 😢. We can have hundreds of options for select/multi select fields. Putin' that manually in elementor form option is a madness. I have 4 multiselect form fields depending on the previous selection and ita multi select field.. that is crazy. This dynamic select field is just scratching the surface... bcause ibneed to populate the selections based on CPT and ACF used in CPT 😅😅...and it's crazy to put all multiselect optiona manually in there. Hi, excellent tutorial and i just purchased the plugin from your link. i have a question...what i really needed was the pdf generator included in the plugin but i have no idea how to use it. i want to use the information generated by my form to create a pdf. But...i dont want the pdf to include all of the information captured, just some of it. additionally, i need one of the form fields to have a list of entries that show up on the pdf as a master list (of all entries into the field) with no repeats... can you help me...???

Hello Paul, great video. Quick question. Is there a way to check metrics based on all the answers you get through Elementor Forms? (graphs, percentages, etc). Like, I may offer the form for the client to specify which product he's interested in. But then could I know at the end of the month how many people wanted that specific product without having to count one by one?

You can use Zapier. This will sound complicated if you haven't done it, but let me know if you want me to make you a tutorial. Zapier (paid version) will give you a webhook. Then you send the submitted data over to the webhook you get from Zapier. In Zapier, you can then send the data to a Google spreadsheet. Then, you can use the data that's in the spreadsheet however you want. It's a few steps to make it happen, but we do this now with a lot of the forms we set up for ourselves and clients. Let me know if I lost you or if you'd like a video explanation...

Thanks Paul for the video. I have a question about elementor forms, if you can help that will be great. I created an elementor popup form the is triggered when the visitor clicks a button. Once the form popup comes up the visitor can fill in their name and email and submit. They will then get a confirmation email and subsequently redirected to another page where they are required to complete the text area of the form on that new page. Is there a way to autofill that form on the redirected page with the name and email they already provided so they don't have to fill that again? That way they can just add information only in the text field and submit.

Great video, Paul! It gave me some ideas. Do you think this dynamic form functionality would allow me to create a product configurator form? What I mean by that is to allow a site visitor to select product parameters or features to "build" the final product. Just like in your example, certain features would enable or disable some product options. While I am still thinking about ways to put this configurator together, I would like to figure out if I could create a field within this form that would display the selections the user makes as he makes selections. For example, if the user selects color RED and size SMALL, that field would append "-R" for RED and "-SM" for small to the base part number. Would that be feasible to do using this tool?

[edit: just noticed the age of the comment...but I'll leave my reply in case it helps others!] Hi Sal, I guess it depends on whether the "Submit actions" can be configured to "add to cart", assuming you want to link to an actual purchase, not just to send a sales enquiry (if this is the case, the Dynamic Content for Elementor I'm sure would do the job. Assuming you want to send the product to the shopping cart, you may be better off using an ecommerce plugin like Woocommerce, which is custom built for this stuff. You would use the "variable product type" to create different versions (using "attributes") that can be added to the cart; there are extensions which allow you to update the product image on selection and other enhancements. Check this out: woocommerce.com/document/variable-product/ The basic Woocommerce plugin is free, but there are also many extensions to enhance the display, pricing, etc...generally speaking they are more expensive (e.g. $99 Composite Products from Woocommerce itself:woocommerce.com/document/composite-products/composite-products-use-case-configurable-product/) than this Dynamic Content for Elementor that Paul is using which looks really good, and is $30 cheaper for what seems like an endless array of enhancements. (I've just stumbled upon it myself looking for conditional form logic and found Paul's excellent video (thanks, Paul!). Hope that helps a little, Sal!

I saw you video and got hyped up about it, finally the thing I wanted after several hours looking for something similar, and then when I decide to test the plugin, it cost money. I get that you want to get clicks, so you obviously cannot but that it cost money in the title, but at least I think you should mention it in the beginning of the video. Of course is your channel so you do whatever you want, and people including me, may leave a dislike :/ FYI Fluent Forms does the thing I wanted, for free :)
