Astra provides a really nice theme with LearnDash and Elementor. I think the Elementor integrations would work on that also.

Hi Pez, I haven't tried the Astra LearnDash theme. I should check it out. With the improved E + LD integration I'll probably improve the WP Learning Lab course experience. Maybe I'll switch to the Astra theme at that time. Thanks for the tip!

@@wplearninglab - The overall info about how this is not so much of an "upgrade" but just turns the shortcodes into widgets. I'm sure this will be very helpful for those just building new sites, or those who are new to both tools. But after watching your run-down I can see that this is not really going to make my life all that much easier, so it's not necessary to take the time to install and play around, only to discover what you just laid-out quite nicely. I'm also not very quick with these tools, so it probably would have taken me - literally - days to figure out that I don't really need this. So that was why this was so helpful. Hopefully, in the future, these features will just be integrate into Elementor Pro. Thanks again, & Have An Excellent Day!

Thanks for sharing Claude, I always like to know what you find useful so I can make more useful videos :) I think they fast tracked this integration because of CoVID-19 and the resulting shift to moving more business and schooling online. I hope they continue to work on it and creat some really cool things we didn't have before.

When it comes to downloadable content within a course (a PDF, an audio, etc) - how are those done within Learn Dash? Do you just upload them to WP Media (and if so are they protected at all so only people logged in can access the links)? Are there button options you can add to the lesson or is that all done manually?

Hi Esther, I'm pretty sure Elementor pro is not required for the Learndash integration. I don't know where active discussions are taking place about Elementor and Learndash. Hi, thank you much for this tuto, please help , I would like to know how I can do to have active icon, for example I created a mobile menu, I inserted a link but when I give click to open the page opens, but the color of the page icon active does not change, what code and id I must use to have this function? i use elementor, thanks for your help

On the style tab you should be able to style the 'active' state of the link. The options somewhere on the style tab should be 'normal', 'hover' and 'active'. When you create a Single Course template, can you dynamically add the featured image of the relevant course? If so, which widget to use? Thanks! Agreed, the integration is not impressive.

Hi Edward, I haven't tried that specifically yet, but I imagine it would work similar to post or page templates where you would use the Elementor featured image widget. If you're using ACF fields to add the image then you would use the Elementor image widget, choose to select the image dynamically and then choose the appropriate ACF field. Hey Edward, I know of two alternatives to ACF off the top of my head: Pods and Toolset. I believe Pods is free no with premium version and Toolset is premium only. I would say the difficulty of learning and using them is the about the same as ACF. But ACF enjoys market dominance, more third party-addons and a better integration with Elementor. ACF does have a big learning curve and it can seem very abstract when you're first starting out with it. But if you stick to it you'll get it. I think dynamic plugins can't be made much simpler because they have so much power. To make them simpler you have to take some power away. That's a question for the ages Kamal. The best estimate I can give is sometime soon after school starts for the kiddos if starts full-time. Where I live the start date for school is Sept 8th this year.

sir do you know or do you able to create a tutorial, or please just let me know how, can i make a users create an account in our wordpress or elementor but with the balance and they can transfer one to another account once they deposit a funds to his account in our sites, example like, someone create an account and then they can deposit the balance but first they have to submit to us then we filled the balance to their accounts, then they can easily transfer to anyone else that had an account created in our sites, so the balance is just a number that admin put(from admin panel) and filled to their account (like online wallet), or do you have already the tutorial? please i really need this one to be work on wordpress or elementor 🙏🏼
