@@OoohBoi Totally. Despite I've won a monthly Elementor TOP-10 award (bersus.design), it took a lot of time to reach the proper result. Lots of manual coding and fixing bugs. For example, the issue with their Lightbox is still not fixed for mobiles. I've sent them tons of mail, but the only answer is "we will try to implement this in our future builds". What? A lightbox? Ahhah =)

@@eddier.6749 I don't do any wireframes, the Hero section from this tutorial is very simple. A year ago when I was still working as a full-stack developer, I used Photoshop, and I used it for 10 years backward. And yes, I know what you mean by saying "have a hard time with design". You obviously have a hard time believing in yourself buddy, the blockage won't disappear as long as you keep worrying whether what you do/design is good enough. The harder you try, the harder it gets. Go with what YOU think is right and don't give a damn shit what anyone else has to say.

amazing video, tho u cant set column height based on vh because fore some reason first column will be affected and will be in a upper position, you can control the height by adding some padding, but this will affect devices with different resolutions

I tried this today, and in the editing window, the Teleporter part of it, when you mouse over a column, it would slide up the text and button, but it only worked in 1 column. When I previewed the page, it didn't work at all. The sliding up part only worked while I was editing it. Oh well, I was able to do everything else, except for that effect. Still works and looks cool.

This one is awesome! But there is a small thing that disturbs the eye. Change the Top-margin of the Text from 27 to 30 and it will disappear completely when not hovered. Right now it stays a few pixels on the coloured button line. And is there a way to to give that coloured button line a higher z-index so the text scrolls down behind the bar and not in front of it?

Z-index option can be found under Advanced tab, Advanced panel for each and every widget or the element. Give it a shot, that's all you gotta do!

@@OoohBoi Thanks for your answer but I think I didn't made myself clear enough. I'm talking about the coloured border at the buttom of each column. Right now it has 5 pixels. Enlarge that to 30px and hover over the element, then you see what I mean. All I want to do is to get a higher z-index for the coloured border, so the text scrolls down behind the coloured border and not in front of it.

@@secci2007 Border is a property of the container which means that it shares the z-index of the parent element. If you have an example file on the remote server, feel free to let me know, otherwise I can only imagine what you are up to.

Dear Oooh Boi, the teleporter feature of your plugin seems super helpful. I am trying to achieve a similar result to what you are showcasing in this video: changing the background of the parent element upon hovering over a child column. It works mostly as intended, however, the transition effect (such as zoom/fade/ stutter) does not kick in until after I hover off the column. Meaning that it instantly switches to the image without a transition, then fades slowly when I hover off. Any ideas on how to counter this?

Thanks! 1. You can't teleport hover event to the non-parent section or the column, there are technical reasons for that 2. That's the good catch! Maybe I add this feature to the next release of Steroids ... "Hide other columns on hover"

Though, it doesn't work exactly as I want it. When hovering column 1 all other columns are hidden, when hovering column 2, columns 3 and 4 are hidden but column 1 remains visible, when hovering column 3, column 4 is hidden and 1 and 2 remain visible and so on. May I ask you if there's a quick and easy fix for that? ​@@OoohBoi If I understand the situation correctly then the ability to hide siblings that are created before the target is impossible. HTML elements can only ever know about elements that are created after themselves and because of this can not effect something that came before it (using just CSS). So in the example above the reason why column 1 remains visible but columns 3 and 4 are hidden when column 2 is hovered is because column 2 was created after column 1 and therefore does not know about column 1, but does know about 3 & 4. I'm fairly certain the only way to get the desired effect would be by using JS

It's possible, simply set the Section video background instead of the still image. The only problem might be the fact that the video will play from start each time you do the column hover.

love this effect! Thanks a lot for sharing this. I already made a simple crossroad website with it but the only problem is, that on the bigger screen, the top of the site is not looking good - its cuted. Is there any way how to fix it? I tried everything possible but when I put some margin, it already doesnt look good. The site is www.victoryreality.com
