He has written "the incoherence of philosophers " but that is not a refutal of philosophy . how a Doctor like this person can talk so ignorantly about ghazali . i dont think he has read the incoherence of philosophy. The incoherence of the philosopher. This might help you recognize that he was a well philospher himself but was against their reasoning.

some philosophers have argued that God has to intervene between instances which is known as the causing agent / occasionalism and thus the universe was not created as such that it was put in motion and one effect leads to another, like Dr Rehman pointed out the domino effect analogy. But this leads to question evolution. So far evidence points out evolution is in fact REAL. We were Fish and we evolved into primates aka humans, this can be noted as people have small holes under their ears and there is a vein which travels unnecessarily under the thorax which IF by intelligent design would simply be an inch long and be connected straight above the thorax and not traverse underneath it.. and so are many other examples. I feel that if God does exists then he did place the universe in a motion with all is laws and it HAS EVOLVED into what we see today... the laws of nature dictated its every action leading it to either better it self .. or in other words this is the extent it had to reach thus a single cell will always over time perhaps over millions of years will always evolve into multi cellular complex organisms and even achieve diversity in the process in order to achieve its full potential.. i hope that makes sense
