1995 was the year I discovered Jungle, it was also the same year I started going to raves, but never heard it at any of them, keep in mind, Gabba and Happy Hardcore were the mainstays of the Sydney rave scene at the time, so I soon outgrew it, but the love of Jungle grew.

These tunes might be old in terms of age, but they are always timeless. Plus, no matter how old a song is, if its one of the first times you heard it, its technically new to you now innit? :P anyways thanks for this dank upload.

I used to go to Turbulence at the Uni basement all the time. Sat with Jus in the table area once and gave him a smoke and had a good chat about the beats. Top bloke.

aint nothin wrong with liking more than one bass genre my friend. I am guilty of being into dubstep myself, but it was nearly inescapable between late 2010-2012 lol I can still get down to drumstep. Jungle will always be my favorite though. Somethin about the sound that is just so hypnotizing and timeless.

really typifies the 95 jungle sound with its pulsing bassline and increased production on drum editing - the a-side with Det's vocal is pretty much forgettable - this is the one that hold your attention - hit the deck and watch the peeps hit the floor
@SprayNetiKz5 жыл бұрын
gotta agree. hit the deck is just a pure slammer, but the bassline is still pretty wicked on the b side.

I actually prefer the a side. Both fuckeries tbh

I REMEMBER WHEN DJ R.A.W SLAMMED THIS TUNE WITH MC ?
i wish they had've taken it a bit easier on the subs and not overkilled them with distortion and aggression or i reckon this could have had a super sharp shooter level of popularity. the drum work is awesome it could have carried all the aggression. thanks for uploading a terrific track though, really enjoyed it anyway
