Being Dangerous is not always about how much power you can posses, sometimes is about the length you're willing to go for someone you care about damn the consequences. Elena actually ended up killing Conner because he threatened her little bro. Not to mention she was the one who came up with the plan to kill Kol's entire sire line to again protect the only family she had left and she managed to pull it off with Jeremy's help, so yes Elena could be dangerous given the circumstances specially when it comes to protecting her loved ones. She and Damon have this in common, they would go to hell and back for their loved ones and they won't apologise for it. "For someone who doesn't want to be like me, you sure are good at it"
