I recently came across this book and finished it last night. Now, I'm beginning what I know will be a rabbit hole of watching reviews. Btw this is my first time seeing your channel and I'm subscribing. Your take on the book was illuminating for me. And helped articulate some of what I was feeling particularly the frustration and discomfort connected to Parkinson's and how that was so effectively done in a literary context. I found it to be so original in terms of structuring and style. To follow your lead and not reveal spoilers I won't go past that. William Goldman, author of Princess Bride, Marathon Man, Butch Cassidy and Sundance Kid and many other great works wrote after decades as a successful author in Hollywood and in novels: Nobody knows anything. I feel that everyone needs to be open to thinking a little more deeply, no matter how deeply you think you've considered something. A wonderful book on all levels. Very thought provoking. Peace.

Glad you liked it, especially since you ended up buying it! This was one of the first books I finished from the list, but also the one that I've thought about the most afterwards, which I always love in a book 😊
