Yes, Cynthia! We can say that this is a hook-needle. Unfortunately, I don't know where you can buy this tool now. You can see that there is a real hook at the end. The technique is slightly different from the needle. But I assure you, it is very interesting and fun!

I found a double ended crochet hook smooth and round like a needle. I think it will be okay. I see the different sizes. Do you know what that means? Should I stick with a certain size?

@@cynthiadooley9757 I sent you a photo of my set of hooks in the FB messenger. It's called Takashimabari. The set contains 4 hooks of different sizes. I use the thinnest (denoted 0 ) for #10 thread.
