Yeah, it's always weird to see tourists in the area where you live. I used to live in Hamburg, so it was pretty much normal for me. But sometimes I've seen tourists being overwhelmed by something (like how crowded it was in some places, or how amazing the view on the Alster is) and I always wished I could see my home town through the eyes of a tourist. Like, what wonders does the place where you live have that you are totaly oblivious to because you see it every day?

I live in Ticino, Switzerland, and seeing this fills me with proudness for my country. Living here you don’t really realise how beautiful of a country Switzerland is. I would love to just go backpacking somewhere and discovering beautiful new places. Saluti dalla Svizzera
@fancylyrics.5 жыл бұрын
haha ticino is not really switzerland! Technically speaking it has nothing to do about the Swiss german part. Tessin or ticino is just an italian haven where mostly native italians live. It's not the real switzerland that most people talking about also people there are Rude and miserable unlike the rest of Switzerland!
@sibulu28785 жыл бұрын
If you're saying Ticino isn't a part of Switzerland, you could say that about every part behind the "Röschtigrabe". There's a reason we call ourself Confoederatio Helvetica. *Wikipedia: Federations are often multiethnic and cover a large area of territory* Well, Switzerlanf isn't huge, but nevertheless a good example of a multiethnic society. But none of them should feel less "swiss" than others.
@Lolo-tx5li5 жыл бұрын
Karen Brunnen what???? Ticino is a part pf Switzerland as much as Bern or Zürich, you can’t say that. Just becuase we speak italian and we do not have the same traditions that does not mean that we are not Swiss. It’s like saying that everyone Who does not live in Rome isn’t italian or eveyone Who does not live in Berlin isn’t german. Please try to understand that Switzerland has 26 cantons and every cantons is a part of the country as much as the others!!!!!
@rickymartin44575 жыл бұрын
I'm from the German speaking part too, and whatever Karen Brunnen's on about is definitely not true. Of course you're as equally Swiss as the German and French and Romantsch speaking parts of Switzerland, my brothers and siters from the south.
5 жыл бұрын
The only really bad thing I don't like about switzerland (from a Swiss perspectiove) is that it is extremely crouded. People everywhere, mountains cluttered with tourism etc. Still very beautiful but you will never find true nature. You will never have a picture of switzerland where you can see just nature.

haha ja ich glaube auch :) But I think if people just drop by a couple of days, it's hard to figure the differences unless live long enough in either place :)

Great video! Switzerland is the most beautiful country I have ever seen! I lived in Brazil, Switzerland, Portugal and the U.S, but in my opinion, Switzerland is the most gorgeous of all! I am glad that soon I will be moving back for good to this marvelous place!

I feel like young people like us want to travel to the big cities and countries first if they have the chance to do it and i love how you travel to the smll and beautiful switzerland (and alone) even though it os not a big city or very known to travel to for younger people because it is more expensive than anywhere else lol. (I'm from switzerland by the way and i loved seeing switzerland through youre eyes) lots of love

This is absolutely beautiful and love the music choice as well. I have a layover in Switzerland on my way to Greece and i'm thinking about coming to Geneva so I'm looking at videos to mentally prepare. Thank you for taking the time to make this and share it. I appreciate it very much

Have you ever gone traveling before? I’m almost 16 I definitely want to travel in the near future.
@sofiamoran6256 жыл бұрын
Calista Renee yes do it! I went to Ecuador (my dad lives there) and it was very beautiful and you get to meet so many cool people and do lots of stuff. I turn 16 in December so I can’t really travel to another country completely by myself but if you have the chance to travel anywhere DO IT

This was the first video I ever saw of Elena’s and I remember smashing that subscribe button into oblivion. She consistently over-delivers. Unrivaled.

Seriously Elena!! I am so glad I found your youtube channel and you inspire me so much to travel even by myself! You inspire me to come out of my comfort zone which is something I am really trying to do because I am depressed. One of my goals for this year is to travel to at least one destination. Switzerland was always my number one destination actually. I hope I will achieve that! Thank you for your content and always be safe and stay you. -A new subscriber from Greece ❤️
