Elephants are the largest living land animals. Three living species are currently recognised: the African bush elephant, the African forest elephant, and the Asian elephant. They are the only surviving members of the family Elephantidae and the order Proboscidea; extinct relatives include mammoths and mastodons (Wikipedia). These are the Asian Elephants. When we plan to visit Thailand, everytime i do a research, i always getting up an elephant pictures. I then knew that this is the national animal of Thailand. apart from what I always seen on the internet, Elephant riding and circuses or Elephant shows was the popular ones but I was just happy that sanctuaries exist in Thailand. I just want to see them but now I even experienced holding, hugging and feeding them. It's a different feeling when you have done something good for them which also has a place in this planet. SAVING ELEPHANTS IS NOT TOO LATE. 🐘
