A crocodile fights an elephant only to realize it may have bitten off more than it can chew. 53-year-old safari guide Emmanuel Sauti was able to capture this incredible sighting on camera. The sightings and story were shared with LatestSightings.com. Send in your wildlife video here, and earn money: www.latestsightings.com/partn...
"It was one of those days where we were heading back to camp from home on our off days. Just a regular drive, or so we thought. Little did we know that we were about to witness a once-in-a-lifetime event. As we were driving by the Luangwa River, we saw a commotion transpiring in the water below."
"As the sighting started playing itself out, we were able to identify the culprits. An elephant and a crocodile! I couldn't help but feel a mix of emotions. On one hand, I was a bit scared for the crocodile. I mean, have you seen how big elephants can get?!"
"I was absolutely thrilled to witness something so rare. And boy, was it a sight to see! The elephant was putting up a good fight, and the crocodile wasn't backing down either."
Crocodiles tend to target smaller antelope and fish as their sources of food. It's almost unheard of that a crocodile will attempt to kill an elephant. It was either extreme hunger and desperation or overambition that drove this crocodile to attack an elephant.
"In the end, the elephant managed to shake off the crocodile and cross the river. Phew, what a relief! I must say, that was one of the most exhilarating moments of my career as a safari guide. And the fact that it was my first time seeing an elephant fight with a crocodile just made it all the more special."
"As a safari guide, I've had my fair share of incredible wildlife sightings, but this one definitely takes the cake. It's not every day that you get to witness something like an elephant fighting a crocodile. These sightings are rare and precious, and it's moments like these that make me grateful for the job that I have."

The crocodile just wanted a snack. Pretty scary to think an animal might not be able to defeat you, but it will try and eat a part of you if they are at an advantage.

But crocodile couldn't eat any part of elephant expect tails, because crocodile mouth is designed to hold a small animal necks.

First and foremost there is absolutely no "wonderful creator of everything", and second, if there were it would be a first class demon. Are you saying your jehovah created the elephant, but the devil created the crocodile? What kind of a god would set up a food chain where animals are forced to survive and live on the brutal murder and detrimental misery of other animals. Carnivory/omnivory are totally inconsitent with the concept of a humane god. The food chain on the other hand evolved alongside the animals that were evolving within it, and that food chain is manifestly evil. Religious people need to undertsand the following sequence that occured over the past 14.3 billion years, which I suspect they will never ever be able to learn because you need detailed and involved knowledge of many complex fields in science to even begin and make any head way. Here presented is an extremely simplified pathway: High Energy Plasma -> Contraction of High Energy Plasma to an Extremely Heavy Hot Dense Mass of When Compared to the Volume it was Previously Occupying -> Rapid Expansion of High Energy Plasma (cosmic inflation) in which Numerous Elementary Particles (sub-sub nuclear particles apart from electrons) that You have Never Ever Heard of Before Were Created -> Combination of Some These Particles to Eventually Form Neutron and Protons -> Combination of 1 Proton and 1 Electron (gazzillions of times) to form Hydrogen - Formation of Ancient Stars (From Isolated Masses of Hydrogen Condensing Under Their Own Gravity. Formation of Very Very Hot Core's in These Ancient Proto Stars) -> Ignition of Hot Core's giving rise to Ancient Stars burning Hydrogen as a Fuel and Forming Helium mainly (which is what our sun is doing) and a tiny amount of lithium) -> Supernovae (star death) of these Ancient Stars after All the Hydrogen in these stars has been converted to Helium and lithium, and in which the gigantic mass of Helium and lithium collapses and then violently explodes and is scatterd far and wide in and amongst the Hydrogen which was originally formed by cosmic inflation -> Now we have three of the over 100 elements in the periodic table, some of which humans are eventually formed from billions of years later in existence in the universe, humongous amounts of Hydrogen, humongous amounts of Helium and a comparatively smaller amount of Lithium-> How were the other elements formed? -> To be continued .... Please remember that I have cut out humongous amounts of detail that require Extensive knowledge of Particle Physics and Quantum Mechanics to understand this properly. Who can blame religious people for their ignorance when they don't even that this knowledge exists without which all the components that are assembled to make the mobile phones and computers that they continually use to post ignorant thoughts and statements on social media web sites like KZbin would be impossible ...

You are absolutely right, there is a certain category of people who claim that there is a pride of lions in Chobe National Park who have learned to kill adult elephants, including adult bulls. All this sounds like crazy nonsense, because there is not a single fact that would confirm this. There is a video where lions kill elephants, but they were cubs and teenagers, not adults
