Elephants at Wild Horizons Elephant Sanctuary and Orphanage, Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, Aug 2022. Wild Horizons currently has 7 elephants in their care. One gets to interact with an elephant (feeding them pellets of food they enjoy and is healthy for them, as well as holding their trunk and tusk) for a short period of time. The Sanctuary is open and the elephants could leave any time they would like. As a result of the Sanctuary being open, wild elephants can come and use the waterhole, which they did during our visit.
