I'm not trying to be a snob, but there wasn't any tempo change. The tempo stayed the same. He just changed from playing 8th note triplets (three strokes per beat) to 16th notes (4 strokes per beat). Agree on the chefs kiss comment tho :o

While I can appreciate the value added by his occasional critics, I agree entirely with @zenwhisperreally3445 Ie: "it is wonderful to watch." I believe the real magic here is some incredible amalgam of musical talent, powerful physicality, great branding and astounding amounts of 'practice makes perfect'.
