A beautiful bracelet and great tutorial, so clearly demonstrated. You asked us how we might have put it together. Because I loved the way the two pk strands sat so perfectly together I would have put them together in the centre.

Wow! That is so Beautiful! Thank you! And you're right. It looks complicated but when you break it down it's pretty simple. Except ... Know what part of making it I find scary overwhelming (in my head) to do? The crimping. After all this time I still have trouble crimping the second end of a necklace or bracelet, no matter what method I use. Getting the tension right. Getting the pliers fit in the space needed to crimp the tube. I planned to use my magic crimping plyers the other day on a project and I couldn't squish down on the tube without squishing everything around it. Had to find a plan B. Crimp covers? For me, easy peasy. Crimping itself? Always a nightmare. I cannot even begin to tell you how many times I've had to take something completely apart and restring it because I got the second crimp wrong. And yet you make it look so easy! Tutorials like this encourage me to press on and try, try again because I do love making beautiful things and crimping is a part of it. 🙂Thank you.

Hi Deborah, I totally get that. I'll let you into a little secret - I sometimes have that same issue - especially with my Magical Crimping plier. I think it's about getting the right amount of space that you can crimp it and not getting any gaps between the beads. I don't have any pearls of wisdom for you except that it's about practice. I know, I say that all the time, but that's the best advice I can give you. I'm assuming you've watched the 3 ways to crimp video. kzbin.info/www/bejne/roerhZaljthsqLcsi=IP5-r_MMhZyubjRB

Thank you Carol. Gorgeous bracelet. I have a suggestion … would it be possible to give an estimate of how much this bracelet will cost to make? And other tutorials as well as you do them?
@The_Stylish_Maker Жыл бұрын
Thank you so much. I have thought about that but I can only give the price in New Zealand dollars. I think things are probably a lot more expensive here too. This one, in NZD would have cost around $47. That's quite high but it used a lot of glass and metal beads. I don't think the price I would give would be relevant to anyone in other parts of the World.
@wenzbee197 Жыл бұрын
@@The_Stylish_MakerOh yes I hadn’t thought of that. Thanks for the reply.

That bracelet is beautiful, thank you for sharing. Did you use acrylic and glass beads together? I am always back and forth wether to use the beads together. I always think it might not look classy mixing them.
@The_Stylish_Maker Жыл бұрын
Yes, I used glass and acrylic in the same project and I often do. I don't really worry about what materials I mix together as long as they look good. I know some people don't like using acrylic beads but they are much lighter - glass beads can be very heavy. I also think some acrylic beads are very pretty.
