That's a great way to synthesize percussive sounds, i never even considered breaking down the sounds into their core elements like this in order to create them. This give me big inspiration to create my own sounds

I really like how this takes a single element and breaks it down into its parts which can then be independently controlled for more variation and modulation options

Great tutorial! Been diving deeper into synthesizing my own drum samples after using mostly drum breaks for years, and hihats are next on my list, so this is perfect and I'll be trying this method next!

Great video thanks! One fun thing to remember when synthesizing realistic sounds is that higher overtone frequencies tend to decay faster than lower frequencies.
