oh wait, one question on this piece. is it meant to be used with pedal? currently i am doing a 1,2,3,4 so basically on every beat or sustaining the complete thing. also whats the name of your piano vst?

No, you don't need to use a pedal. It's not something you would really use on house piano riffs as the changes are often very quick and it would sound discordant. Also it would lose the Rhythm that is created would be lost. I only really use sustain on chords that are held for 2 or more beats as a minimum
