Though 76 years old, I pretty well have every thing in my festive wardrobe that you mentioned however favourite staples of mine that I've worn time after time are: a pair of black satin/straight legged/ankle length/tapered pants and also a silk/plain/midi length/slip skirt which have proven to be the foundation for a number of outfits I've put together.

Loved the video and just in time! I almost decluttered a “holiday staple” because I hadn’t worn it since last year. It’s a sweater with a bit of shine so I only wear it during the holidays! 😂 Glad for the new perspective. Also I’m adding a velvet top to my shopping list. I’ve always wanted one but thought it wouldn’t get worn enough for a place in my wardrobe.

My Bunco group decided to make it a Christmas pj party. I wore Grinch pj’s last year, and they loved it. I bought a pair for this year that were prim and proper, but I found some super fun ones that are overalls. I’m taking the prim and proper back. I’m getting my holiday outfits ready, even if I have to create a party to wear them. I added sparkly hot pink cardigan with matching top to wear with faux leather pants. I also added a black sequined skirt. I have a green velvet blazer, and green velvet dresses. I also have the plaid jacket, black velvet pants, and sequined top you suggested last year. I just added red boots. I think they will add to my overall Christmas pj’s. Lol

I do, too. What’s fun, though, is to keep items from past years. I love to wear holiday outfits even when I go shopping, lunch with friends, etc. They never go out of style, and they never wear out. Lol
