You go girl....got my first pair of docs a month ago...my husband brought them for me....AND we found a pair for my 2 year old granddaughter!!!!! (hers are sparkly though!)...and I am ....do not tell anyone...60!!!!! Combat boots....red lipstick...funky belts and a moto....all with lace or "pretty" clothes.....LOVE it EDGY!!!...NewSUB right here.

Ok, I am not a hater, love all the outfits except the shiny metallic hoodie! It reminds me of Dr. Smith in the black and white series Lost in Space!! I recently bought a pair of combats and have wear them only to ride my ATV. I need to step out of my comfort zone. Thanks for the video. :)

My other half loves to wear these and grew up in the punk scene! Her style was one of the biggest things that attracted me to her as I’ve always had a thing about women wearing combat boots. I like the edginess it exudes I guess but it’s always been that way for me as far back as I remember. Maybe it’s a strong woman thing. Idk. Nonetheless, dm combat boots look good on women! Not all of us are into the fairy princess thing lol

I have a couple of more feminine style (slightly lighter sole) boots that I really love the look of and are easy to style . Also Blundstone boots are a year round favourite of mine and I like your Docs too . Lots of good styling ideas here . My hesitation is the full on faux leather pants that when I see on women our age I think make us look like we're trying too hard .

The leather lace and boots looks good on u but on me I would look ridiculous. I will be getting that lace top though. I would try the boots again if they weren't shiny patent leather. I had real combat boots from the military and still wore them after I got home

Here's a hack to alleviate static when you're wearing tights. Put a light coating on body moisturizer on your hands. Rub your hands together, then rub your hands on your tights, especially the high static areas.

Absolutely! Combat boots and shoes with chunky soles are definitely trendy right now. Have fun, and go for it. These are the pieces that make an ordinary outfit look modern. :o)

Yes go for it. I wear mine often...with jeans, leggings and even with trousers at work. I found a really cute light colored pair of combat boots at Target in the spring and it felt so outside my comfort zone. But I love 💕 them so much!!!

Don’t like the metallic jacket at all. Looks like you’ve just run a marathon and they’ve wrapped you in tin foil. The skirt look is great but I think the skirt needs to be a bit shorter, to pull it off with the boots. Also, don’t like the lacy blouse with the look, just doesn’t ‘ go’ , if I’m honest. Thank you so much though for compiling these outfits. It really helps to try and decide what to wear xx
