Merry Christmas, Tom... It is Tom, yes? Thank you for the tracks, my man. I've progressed quite a bit since I discovered your channel. I've been playing for 23 years, and I learn more every time I pick up the guitar. I have horrible arthritis and can't play as fast or as smoothly as I used to, but your tracks keep me inspired. I've been able to play longer at a time thanks to your excellent tracks. Thanks, brother.

Merry Christmas Mr. Elevated aka Tom as it seems. Your channel, and your Backing tracks, creativity, and the feeling and emotion inflected in your playing, has inspired me to learn and grow to far more than I once thought was possible. Teaching comes by demonstration and you are the man my friend. Thank you sincerely for your contribution to our Guitar world community.

Super cool, relaxed, and groovy. Betrayel, yes. But it seems like no blame or hard feelings are attached. Great tune, very introspective. Wow!

Hi Tom! I see we're still visiting some Gibbons. I won't ever tire of it. Thank you for this little gem on the biggest holiday day. I do hope you and yours are warm, bright and well taken care of. As for 2025, I toast your general direction. We are all blessed to have you available through social media. 400k subs is incredible and criminal in the same sentence. Also, love the organ. Adds so much harmonic content. Peace, brother. \m/

@@mikefarquhar5063 Thanks my dear friend! I wish all the good folks of this channel a merry Christmas and a great new year filled with monumental improvements on the guitar!

@metinabay6884 well said! Monu.ental improvements on guitar- I love that! And so very much want that, it is a perfect blessing to impart on a fellow aspiring musician, I wish thd she for you also, and everyone who really wants it will get it it is the definition of the root of where talent is born- from the genuine desires of the heart, then put into practice then becoming actual noticeable as talents. This Is why I believe everyone who wants it enough CAN if they can envision and apply. All the best! Few more beers I'll be knocked out anyway so fk it! Yeah

@metinabay6884 this guy's solo mastery is spot on every time, unique yet I can see there's a definite formula, hints of influences in there, a very comprehensive collection of moves and combos, that's what I'm working on as I work towards understanding the theory- but the understanding will come after, you don't need to understand theory if you can memorise the moves, but it is still handy in order to know where to apply and when, and those shapes and combos can be transposed up and down the fretboard. It has already been mapped out, and so now its all about orientation and restraint, timing and direction
@metinabay688422 күн бұрын
@@mikefarquhar5063 Now that is some articulate writing. Keep it up! As for his playing, couldn't agree more with you on his melodic mastery over all kinds of tracks. I have been following him since his earliest days and what I can tell is he has been expanding his already vast musical vocabulary nearly all the time. He hasn't made much shred gains as far as I'm concerned, but his melodic vocabulary has gotten so better over the years it appears mind-boggling how he is able to construct such phenomenal solos every time. I'd suggest instead of complicating the process, let's just learn from the master himself! Learn and analyze his licks and solos, and little by little you will be familiar with his lines and ,most importantly, his way of thinking. Theory plays a great part in this equation as it enables you to reverse-engineer the ideas. Also keep in mind that creativity is a muscle and it grows stronger as you push it. Good luck! Best regards,
