Your tracks are perfect for exercising yourself to play on tune with the chord progression. Been playing this tune around a hundred time haha, I start to sound okay on it

I played to this tune looped so long, that I now have an abrasive boil on my thumb...

These tracks are killer for memorizing notes on the fretboard with guitar thats not drone'ee and boring. Every E note sounds right with the track at any time, so while your memorizing where all the notes are, in this case E, you can practice vibrato, bending, sliding, string skips with harmonics and more on every E note location on the fretboard.

Excellante, great backing track for practice, just followed the notes, best section comes when you follow and play 9-11, 9-11 pattern on your guitar in the mid of the backing track

Kinda like it. The lil glimpse of G# really breaks the mold and u can get away with some pretty freaky shit. Has a weird phrygian/dominant quality to it.
@onestopguitar55105 жыл бұрын
because the G# should be minor not major in this key
@PhilGinsburg4 жыл бұрын
Thank you for the track, but sounds like this begins in E Mixolydian and not Ionian.
@muncham4 жыл бұрын
Nope, definitely Ionian
@markoadhikari80714 жыл бұрын
Is there anyone here who could explain the Mode used in this backing track clearly? I mean it uses Root, Major 4th and Minor 2nd and 5th major...EM, AM and F#m, BM...So, to my point of view its neither an Ionian nor Dorian fully... that's y I m confused 🧐
@titaseafell65204 жыл бұрын
It's an E Ionian indeed, its harmonization is EM - F#m - G#m - AM - BM - C#m - D#dim, so all the chords used in this song fit
