Great question! For this game in particular, we actually felt confident in our ability to win. We knew we just had a rough patch in set 2 and needed a new start to refocus. We didn't need to put anymore extra effort. Just be steady.

Repetition. Repetition. Repetition. Lots of setting drills on KZbin. Watch those. Learn the technique etc but the only way to get better is to keep on doing it and make adjustments are you correct things as you progress.
