Elevating Efficiency: Investing in Modern Hay Harvesting Machinery | Carpathian Farm | FS 22 | #44

Welcome back to the Carpathian Countryside Farm Timelapse. Initially, we choose to capitalise on surplus pig feed and granular mineral fertiliser, which prove lucrative. With profits in hand, our focus shifts to upgrading our hay harvesting machinery. Our purchases include a KRONE BIG M500 mower, a CASE IH LB 436HB baler and an ANDERSON STACKPRO7200 bale stacker.
Armed with these top-of-the-range machines, we go out into the fields and quickly cut and bale the grass. This systematic approach allows us to manage multiple fields efficiently. As our business expands, we continue to invest in further improvements, purchasing a POTTINGER HIT 16.18 T tedder and a special trailer for transporting the bales.
With the mower equipped with a tedder, we delegate the task of mowing and moving the grass in a new field to a hired hand. Meanwhile, we manage the transport of the grass bales, ensuring that they are delivered to the storage facility on time.
