Elevating off the Charts!

The last few years have brought forth both growth and learning. As individuals, as a team, as humans. Dr. Richardson once told us, “we’re coming up now from the basement onto the first floor.” This is apparent in our deeds: our path is upwards. From our founding before COVID-19, when we were all-volunteer, to today, we’ve matured as an organization. The staff has grown, our grant submissions have increased, our roots have deepened, and we have managed to stay true to our purpose of centering love, healing, and justice. Most importantly, we have built our capacity to serve more members, to attend and to host more community events, and to recruit more allies and supporters because we are powered by people who care deeply.
