I agree with him in the fact that most people who seem so confident are usually very insecure deep down.. He is a great preacher an he grab my attention an have me listening to one or more of his messages everyday. I can relate to him cause he is real. He lets you know God loves you anyway. He brings Jesus to you. Im very impressed in his skills as a pastor. I pray God keeps his hand in him an he stays just like he is now.

When God allows you to be broken beyond measure, it is impossible to compare yourself to others. When you are placed at the bottom of the valley the only thing you can do is look up. It is only there that God can build your confidence in Him. The world matters no more. Your relationship with Him is the only thing that matters. More Christ, less of me. God bless you pastor Steve.

I love the changes I’m seeing in Steven Furtick. He’s becoming a man who’s seen how lost we can get and he’s trying to tell us that we’ve got it all wrong. That we need to humble ourselves more and really seek after Jesus more. So many people say this man is arrogant. Throughout this series he’s looking more and more like a man who’s been through some stuff and is really relying on God more than ever. I’m inspired and humbled even more by this. We need more of Jesus and not what Jesus means to the world, but what Jesus means to us to the depths of our souls

I sit here in a university Library at 11pm, worried stressed and having no confidence. I have been trying to do my work which is due tomorrow and have prayed, sought council from other Christian friends and still nothing. I had gotten to a point where i thought maybe God doesnt want to bless me with a miracle as He has for everyone telling e to keep praying and waiting for His intervention. I was losing my mind and hope a few minutes before i stumbled apon this. But maybe this is my winter season, my time to fail and knock me down my "oh I'm studying at the best University in Africa" horse and kill my confidence, but build my faith in Christ. Amen.

Who would have thought. What a twist in expectation of what I would get out of this message. I thought I would gain more confidence in my countless failed attempts to please God and promptly obey. But when “I” am doing it, and calling it blind faith dependent on His grace, I am just in denial. I pray always that my flesh would be crucified. I had on idea that was the process he has been taking me through and so now I know, it isn’t confidence I needed for me to fight harder to hold onto what I needed to let go of. I cannot even sustain my own breath.

I don't thank God for Pastor Steven's ability to preach. I realized nothing of power could come out of Steven if it was not for his humility on the mountains and his resistance in the valleys. It is clear to me that Pastor Steven has opted out for difficult choices, whether it be the change of mindsets, or faith in the unknown. All of those things together, God is able to do wonderful things through Pastor Steven, and I am so grateful for the choices he made in honor of God, which makes him, in my opinion, one of the greatest preachers I know, without any human confidence.

This sermon really grabbed hold of my heart. For anyone reading this who may be struggling with continuing to follow and believe God because of how other people have treated you in the church, keeping following God. It’s so true that those you think were or are walking in the favor of God maybe faking it. And those who are faking it, eventually, even us if we aren’t careful, will fall apart. I’ve witnessed countless people who hurt me in the church no longer serve nor attend church anymore. Whether they still follow the Lord, I’m not sure. But under the consequences of their actions, they left a bad image of who they are and proved they weren’t truly walking with God. P.S. the people who hurt me did so by accusing me of things I did not do and the truth came out later. I kept my innocence. Also, how harsh they would speak to me when I first got saved and attended church. I mean there were things I didn’t understand and when you first get saved, man you don’t know how to handle certain situations anymore. Coming from being a violent person, to now believing and knowing God and knowing what is not right and not wanting to let God down. Mann it crushed me. I was hurt bad. I felt like maybe I wasn’t “good” enough and maybe I really wasn’t saved. Ahhh BUT!!! Talking and praying to God helped me overcome and God handled the wolves. He is Good!!

This is perfect, it's beautiful to see this. I think it was two weeks ago, maybe three, Steven preached and it was clear he was going through a humbling experience. I've loved his confidence in Christ, in The Holy Spirit, to encourage faith without doubt. I love that Steven lost his confidence, reminding me that every day I wake up in the old man's body, and every day Christ kills that man anew so that I may live; indeed His graces are new every morning. The Spirit is perfect, but no good thing is in the flesh. It's a tricky balancing act for flesh to play; for Steven, as a preacher, to embody confidence and boasting in Christ whilst being humble in the flesh. A preacher who cannot boast in Christ appears doubtful and therefor does not well express belief and faith in Light. I never did judge Steven for his self confidence because he was striving to serve his flock and I percieved his Spirit was humble. Some people, in pride, censor their honesty in order to appear humble. Some people, in humility, must boast in Christ and so are wrongly seen as arrogant. We resist underestimating Christ; so our flesh expects of Him because our Spirit knows He is so good and gracious. This current age is for learning, so the expectations of our flesh are often broken that we may learn. Indeed it's eccellent advice to believe confidently in Jesus whilst not drawing a bunch of lines, categories, and conclusions about the world around us. Let he who boasts boast in The Lord.

Amen brother I got off of work at 3 p.m. And just wasn't having it. I felt like running people off the road flipping cars over. I kept praying the whole time but it seems like the more I prayed. The more things tried to upset me. I almost did get into a car accident cuz I wasn't paying attention. I asked God as I pulled into my driveway Lord, please, today I lost my confidence. But I didn't lose God I was just funny how you set driving with elevation playing while you're cussing people out. Maybe I drove past you or something. Thank you God.

I have been to china and there they are not as free to speak about Jesus or worship him freely as we are in the western world.. When the Chinese get a revelation of Jesus they hang on as though they have received a jewel and don't ever want to let it go. Us who are free to speak n worship the lord should do so more and try bring others to Christ also. God has birthing pains for china. God cries for the lost souls there very much. This world needs Jesus Christ. All souls need to be saved n those who need to repent of sins need to now and get right with God. Jesus is LORD OVER ALL

I just recently started watching videos of sermons from your church. I've been having good days and then bad days. I'd wake up feeling so sure of myself and sleep almost away the brokenness of the day. I've been having issues with school, people, friends and I kept thinking why is everyone on their own these days... I kept feeling like no one cared to see something was wrong. I lost my confidence in so many occasions. Even today I had a paper and I was optimistic about it until I couldn't the questions. So I slept the pain of messing up again. Then I woke up and a few hours later I found myself breaking down praying. I was so tired and frustrated and almost everything you mentioned here was what I confessed while I was praying. So watching this video after praying like that to me right now is a blessing and an assurance and an awakening. God bless you for the words you've spoken for everyone of us losing our confidence. Oluwaseun... I just read your message and you are seen, your pain and inner brokenness is seen and heard and KNOWN by not just Jesus, God and the Holy Spirit... but me, and countless others. I’m 47 and I was right where you are and regretted my birth until I was almost 40. I spent most of my life wondering how I could be so shattered, broken and no one seemed to notice. Then about two years ago...In my brokenness in the midst of a spiritual journey I prayed for to “be so consumed by Him, as consumed as the burning bush, I cried out to the Lord in despair asking Him, the one I was and had been relentlessly pursuing for years, does anyone see me, I know you do...now...but what about when I was a child and no one noticed the bruises or the pain that was so clearly seen in my eyes... where were you?” And he gave me three visions taking me back to the time I was three years old until 11, each event i had managed to block out and not even recall without Him showing me in vision... and one where I was hiding in the closet from my father who was trying to find me so he could kill me, I saw Jesus kneeling over me and holding me, and my mother who I wouldn’t have been able to see because I was behind a door, trying to keep him away from where I was and begging with him to leave me alone. Then another incident where I was in bed crawled up in a fetal position after my father had just left the room, Jesus again was there holding me from behind and I had fallen asleep in His arms. There was one other incident, but you see where I’m going. I wondered why no one saw me and what should have been obvious, why I was never rescued, but at 47 years old I now know... had I been rescued or born to two loving parents who didn’t know God or our Savior, would I be as relentless in my pursuit of His heart, His love for me, or now, so passionate about sharing how we have access to the most incomprehensible and unimaginable love relationship with the Father of all fathers? I don’t think so. I could have been a statistic. But I’m not, I was called by name and chosen for a purpose in an era I have never felt I belonged in, until now. So as Pastor Steven has said and continues to say... pray for perspective, His... arial view. “All things really do work out for the good to those who love God and are called according to His purpose.” A Don’t give up and don’t ever lose hope! You are seen, you are known and you are NEVER ALONE!
