Nearly 11 years i was a believer! I did what everyone did, go to church, pray, sing and even played music instruments and led worship in the church. I was a "good" christian. To be brutally honest it was only 5 years ago i started to know what it meant to be in Christ. At the lowest point of my life one morning i was on my bed, suddenly the room started to fill with an unusual presence that started to make me cry and weep with such conviction of love. Christ appeared to me, He said ".. It's I who loved you first..". I cried and cried and before He left He gave me something. I was on my knees and an incredible and unexplainable peace came upon. I have never felt anything like it before. I cried even louder and i asked God "What is this, it's so unusual?" He answered " it's MY peace, not of this world". He left. These 5 years i have been devoting myself reading the scriptures and He has even asked me to pioneer a small work. Christ is beyond christian duties. Christ is the SON of God and He wishes everyone of us become a son like Christ.

Been singing this song at work.. I am a mental health nurse that works in a prison on solitary confinement and most of the inmates are going through with depression and substance abuse. I try to put up a scripture everyday or an encouraging word. I try to tell them you may be in prison but God can help you win this battle you are going through. Was really lost and even lost my faith; I basically became an atheist and was looking for satisfaction in women, marijuana, cigaretes, and even alcohol! But my family never stopped praying for me and I met Jesus Christ who saved me and gave me the satisfaction I needed! He never gave up on me and HE DEFINITELY WILL NOT GIVE UP ON YOU! I am more than a month sober and I although hard, God is faithful and keeps renewing me everyday. His will for my life is to witness to others and be a pastor to let His gospel known in all the world. I thank God Almighty for His faithfulness in fighting for my life.
