I am getting older, but I have rolled out of bed two mornings in a row singing this song in my head. Praising God for who is. My relationship with Him is alive and rejuvenated by music and performances like this. I can't state enough that I am thankful that God brought me to a church that engages me through this style of music and I hear the message from the bible very clearly. He spoke to me for the first time in my life at 36 yrs old and I have been following Him now for 18 years.

Of course we know, The Holy Spirit is the key ingredient in all worship music. If He moves in and fills the singers, band, and atmosphere, the "magic" begins. (anointing) We have new people come into our sanctuary, before we worship and stop in their tracks, "What is in this room?!" There is something different, I have never experienced before. They sense the energy, the peace, the life of Jesus Christ that only He can bring. We make sure we honor Him, acknowledge the Holy Spirit, and stay "small in our own eyes". It all belongs to Him, and we are completely lost without Him.

This is indeed a great song from Elevation Worship. The opening drum pattern complete with marching bass drum hits from the percussionist giving it that "big drums" feel is killer! I appreciate when bands have two drummers, because a percussionist adds key elements that a kit drummer can't do since he must focus on the beat. I also love the analog synth/piano riff at 03:00 to 03:41 supported by the ethereal fretwork music bed. This passage gives the song plenty of daylight and ushers you into the bridge like a well thought-out prelude. Nice work guys!
