In real life I probably wouldn't do it because you have to be alone in the elevator when do the game so there's s chance that you might accidentally look at her when she walks in because if you look at the top where it shows which floor you are on it counts as looking at that woman so whatever you do do not look at her so instead just close your eyes and wait for the elevator door to shut and look at the buttons

Its not a basement, he is in the other side of the world, he wasnt in his real world from the start when he entered the wrong elevator The hotel he was in was just an illusion. Hope this helps!
