Thank you :D I'm open to topic suggestions. Do you work w/ AI day-to-day?

@ I use AI (ChatGPT) daily for a multitude of tasks and I've been playing with Elevenlabs custom vioce for a while. I've decided to learn how to create Agents with Elevenlabs, Twilio and some calander service like Calandly, Cal or something similar. It would be amazing to see you make a step by step tutorial on how to connect a calander app and a voip like Twilio. If there's a way to customize the widget embed function, ie - make it appear on a website as a "Main character" on the page, in the hero section for example instead of only showing a small widget in the lower right corner. Again - thanks for making these videos ✨😊✨

@@meigustas I’m working on a real-time voice API agent for a nail salon to handle appointments across three locations. Just landed a client who needs it to switch easily between Mandarin and English, so VAPI’s out (too expensive for $/min), now I’m hunting for better options. For content topics, I'd definitely tune in for something like: 'Teaching voice AI to deal with humans like pros.'"

Thanks for uploading this 😊 I have been trying the 11L agent platform out for a few weeks. They have added some cool additions with the tools hey? The issue I have hit is, 11L agents cut out a lot or have a lot of lag. Integrating real phone numbers (e.g. Twilio) is quite fiddly. I tested the whole ngrok route. An easier more production ready solution is using the Vapi framework. You can pick your preferred AI provider and model, preferred STT provider, agent voices (11L, open AI etc) and use a Twilio number 📞. I think the 11L voices rock and still use them inside Vapi. Its a just a more stable and much faster option than trying to do everything inside 11L (from personal experience). Vapi is also set up to integrate with external AI / automation systems like make 👍 Hope this is useful, and keep up the great work! 🤘

100% Vapi is my goto agent builder right now. A couple of differences: 1. Some of the voices that eleven labs agent builder has, is not available to be used in other agent platforms. There's no ID to them. For example, their agent voice Eric is super duper good! 2. Vapi charges more, in my experience with building over 20 projects is that it'll be around $0.10~0.18 / minute depending on prompt length 3. Vapi has amazing integration as you said, with phone number, backend sdk etc. 4. Vapi has a VERY VERY active discord community that is ON THE BALL with helping out their users

What projects have you worked on w/ agents? Add me on linkedin, would love to chat more.

@@meigustas Agreed, and seeing similar prices too. I think because Vapi allow you to pick each provider in the workflow you can optimise for speed/ quality. I found GPT mini works quite well as the AI for voice agents and is quite quick, how about you? Also even having a fast STT provider seems to help reduce latency. I noticed it was quite hard to find some Elevenlabs voices on VAPI. Then one I could not find that I always use eventually appeared (weird!). Working with the VAPI tools/ functions took a bit of trial and error - mainly to get used to the way they map data when they send webhooks, but got there in the end. I should have jumped on the Discord and saved myself time - thanks for the tip! :)

@@meigustas Following on LinkedIn 👍 Most of my voice apps have been for personal use/ productivity, rather inside client 🤖 AI automations. But have recently started on a couple of projects where it could play a part 👍😊

Yes! There is an SDK for it to do outbound, I personally haven't explored it. Check their docs in the description :)
