Tuscaloosa, AL was my "suffocate city." I totally relate to this song. But I did get out of that place. I ended up in Fabulous Las Vegas. Yeah, life is still a struggle, and as "just a nurse," it always will be, but at least I am in a city I love, and I am no longer in a place that I feared I would never escape. I think a lot of people in the southeast could relate to this. I wish this had come out when I was much younger. Maybe it would have inspired my escape sooner.

I was so excited to hear this song, because not only was Spencer Charnas in this song, delivering his amazing vocals, but this song was everything I imagined it to be. An absolute banger, that I'll probably have on repeat all day. With every The Funeral Portrait song there's always a catchy chorus, and though it's catchy, it can also be quite dark and disturbing, and that's everything I love about The Funeral Portrait. This band is absolutely amazing, and I'm happy that they got Spencer to feature in this song, because my other favorite band is Ice Nine Kills. It was awesome seeing them work together.
