I know comparisons like these are meant to be really big compliments, and I agree that this definitely is real music. But FATN has their own style. They're not just several bands smashed together with no own sound. FATN sounds like FATN and that's what makes them amazing. No offense though, I get what you mean. To me, this song is special. Not because it's about a relationship but more so about a friendship. My best friend of 7 years just up and left one day. Never have I thought that Barely Breathing could get better than the original version, which was already one of my most listened songs on Spotify and one of my favorite Fatn songs. But the addition of Chrissys part sounds amazing and I'm glad that the beat also got a slight change. The piano at the beginning gives the whole song a more haunting and slightly creepy vibe. Also I just yesterday found out that Crissy the singer of Against the current is the same Crissy that collabed with other artists like Sam Tsui, which I loved to watch like 10 years ago.
