I just started watching. Dude - THIS is great analysis.

Thanks for breaking down the screen pass before halftime. Everyone is talking about the strip score (and to be fair, that play is what sealed the game), but I think that score just before halftime was the play of the game.

As a horns fan, I agree. That screen pass score was devastating after we started to swing the momentum.

Thanks for calling out the effort on the Gee Scott 3rd down catch. We don't convert that 4th without him

8:48, actually it’s not the same deep post at bottom of screen, it was a comeback that was wide open 😢 Sad bc that play we threw a pick and egbuka was open on the comeback

The OSU secondary has such great closing speed. They get downhill fast and attack

On that last play it is clear that if Ewers fakes the toss and then rolls to the opposite side of the field, he waltzes in easily for the score or, worst case, has only 1 man to beat/make a move on. There was no safety and no one else behind the DE to that side.

Tip is to play with your strengths for ND game and play attacking for first half.

15:43 easiest holding call for an official ever. The guy was holding on to #11 back basically the whole play. Same with 45 and middle line backer.

the refs sure let offensive linemen play it out this game. The Buckeyes def got away with some pretty obvious holds on some crucial plays like Will running for that first. Texas got away with a bunch as well though.

Michigan and Texas laid the blueprint for how to stop our offense. Notre Dame has the talent to do likewise. Having the opponent dictate terms to us is a grave concern. We have to play on their terms and that is infuriating.
@marchedge494014 күн бұрын
Texas did. Michigan was offensive playcalling and not what they did.

@@marchedge4940 Correct. Folks give the weasels too much credit and worse some have adopted THEIR narratives

ABSOLUTELY 💯: Chip Kelly drives me crazy when he lets opponents dictate the game - WHY?? - Just use Tempo & Attack aggressively, OSU should be one dictating game‼️
@AL_154714 күн бұрын
Notre Dame might have the guys to do it, but they do not run this scheme. They are extremely man heavy and that's what they are comfortable doing. Works great against the pretty poor receiving corps of PSU, but that's a recipe for disaster against OSU. They're going to have to switch it up, and the question will be how comfortable are they running a defense they really haven't spent much time in all year.

Had JJ made a double move on that first play, that would have resulted in a score … with ease! If Will was a savvy passer, he’d have been at the Heisman ceremony. You know, pump fakes and leading the safety away with eyes. Watching the game live I saw that Will missed the handoff. That have been a long gainer.

Watching this film study shows me how much OSU held and pushed from the back. Simmons and Moore were held a lot. That screen play Moore overran the QB because he was pushed from his back.
