◼I intentionally choose replays showing the new Earthbound card in action. I don't use it too much tbh. ◼ The new Earthbound support is kinda mid but Red Lotus is really great to extended because with Soul Resonator negated you can end at least with Hot Red Abyss + Red Reign + Hand Traps. That will let you survive at least one turn. Shining Star Dragon it's not really needed imo, even in the Centur-ion version. ◼You can use Earthbound Prissioner Sweeper instead Prosperity but I think it really worth to try it because it let you dig for Bone Archfiend or Red Lotus in case the opponent negate your Soul Resonator. ◼ Earthbound Red Nova is from Animation Chronicles not Rage of the Abyss. Sorry for the mistake! The card is not confirmed for TCG yet, maybe in the next Battle of Legends.

Prosperity also banishes cards, which makes Dis Pater's disrupt effect live even when it gets Ashed, while Sweeper is basically just a worse Resonator Call since RDA doesn't have a field spell.

I kinda disagree with your opinion about Shining Star Dragon, it's still a good hand trap when combo with Scarred Demon + Crimson Dragon since you can use Scarred's effect to summon RDA + Board wipe

Im still not over it that they made the supposed strongest earthbound immortal not a boss for earthbound but a mid fodder card for rda. I was hoping for him to be a cool earthbound immortal boss. Tragic

On the bright side, Red Nova does not need a field spell to be on the field, and he's a bit of a novelty by virtue of being the game's first proper level 12 main deck monster that can be normal summoned, Mekanikle's anime version does not count because it's an anime version, and Mekanikle's real life version is instead a NOMI

Btw since Earthbound red nova's effect is a quicky, you can wait 'till your opp's turn to summon geo kraken instead of nova, which can potentially wipe your opp's board, and scarred will summon og rda to keep red zone live

Forgot to mention that geo kraken can also search any field spell which is useful if Ur playing the centurion ver. Plus it's wipe eff can also burn

You can even chain it to Red Reign, banish everything that is lvl 12 or lower, then the sent Scarred will trigger to get you an OG RDA since this is treated as a Synchro Summon, so you even get Red Reign back as a discard fodder for your turn and make Bone Archfiend free, while Red Reign will add itself back. I wish there was a way to recycle Red Nova, it would have been so good to cheat every turn.

One question. I noticed the build you did when Red Lotus was first announced only played one of it, but here you have it at three. Is that because it's more needed for this build specifically, or do you consider Red Lotus to be a three of in any Red Dragon deck?

i think red lotus is at 3 specifically for this build, because you can only use it with red resonator to get the lvl 6 dragon sychro , the other resonators dont get good levels combinations with him and most of the time i would prefer having another monster with a better level unless i specifically search for red lotus

Not really sure what is the best variant this format but I think the Centur-ion version is really strong because of the Calamity lock. Red Lotus workds better in a pure version, I think the other variants really don't need it because they have other ways to extended plays.

A nearly unkillable OTK machine that enter for free isn't that much of a bad card when the game gives you a card that let you trade out a monster for it. It's not spectacular but it's far from useless ngl

@@fab3740 "enter for free" You need to draw the earthbound inmortal and still have combo You have to use the OG RDA for this instead of going for dis pater, rda lv 9 or anything else Immortal discards and sends RDA to gy as cost. If it gets negated you are fucked. I would rather draw an extender or a ht and bring supernova rather having a red nova, which will just get banished/negated and destroyed/ send back to deck or hand...
