@@paytowin8702 That play worked as intended. Raye activates her effect which tributes as cost. Cost is paid at effect activation, not resolution so the chain link hasn't resolved. This allows the player to chain with Evenly Matched (spell speed 2) as CL2 from hand since they control no cards after Raye is tributed.

​@paytowin8702 Yes you can. You can proceed to end of Battle Phase and activate Spell Speed 2 or higher effects before passing priority to your opponent and then heading into Main Phase 2. Raye can activate under the same window that Evenly Matched can activate

@@gentarafi7005 1. Crash Hayate, Hayate dies, Raye summons herself from the GY 2. End the battle phase 3. Chain link 1: Send Raye to GY to summon any link 4. Chain link 2: Play Evenly 5. Resolve Chain link 2: Evenly forces opponent to banish face down 6. Resolve Chain link 1: Raye's summon goes off. This works because Raye's ability to summon a link monster sends Raye to the GY as cost, so it happens immediately. I would never have thought to do this though, this play is nuts.

I personally lean more towards Bystials as tech choices for Striker. In the right match-up they can help exert control. Hop-Eared squadran can also turn each Bystial into a Level 8 Synchro (i.e Omega so you can tag out & help in control).

@@ChristosEglezos-nr9js Bystials are level 6 Dragons which Special themselves from hand (as quick effects) by banishing a Light or Dark Monster from either GY. Hop=eared Squadran is a Level 2 Tuner with a Quick Effect to Special itself from hand then make a Synchro using itself and 1 other monster. 6+2=8=Omega. Bystials have a whole engine and Hop-Eared is searchable by Noble Arms Monster which is also searchable by a Spell.

Que preciosura el otk de linkage, en lo personal a mi si me gusta llevar a HAMP es la carta que te permite pasar sobre monstruos súper complicados como algo inafectado o un avramax con I:P, un kaiju buscable no es poca cosa
