I am a Muppets fan, I do think it's sad to lose the last thing Jim Henson worked on, but I also accept that very few people go to Muppetvision 3D and the restaurants back there get panned a lot for being gross. I LOVE that Electric Mayhem is taking over Rockin' Roller Coaster, that feels perfect. Monstropolis is going to be a big hit and spread out the crowds.

Jim Henson died during the making of Muppet Vision. It was completed by Frank Oz. It's a piece of history that does need to be saved somehow, but it doesn't need to be in that space. And it doesn't need to come back right away. I can see the Muppets taking over another stage sometime in the future. Another channel suggested that the new Villain show has a built-in shelf life. Not likely they will keep a villains show in a different park than Villains land.

Disney already stated they will be preserving the muppet show/film somehow in honor of Jim Henson so.. idc theyre doing the area over with Monsters. I actually thi k its a great idea becaue that whole area is always dead.

I hope they do their best to preserve muppets. First and foremost throw the show on Disney+ so people can experience it forever.

Muppetvision is a culturally significant experience because it was the last time Jim Henson voiced Kermit the Frog-- the last performance of an artist who gave the world Sesame Street and The Muppets. In theory what makes Disney different is that they are not just an amusement park but a deeper experience-- that's why we still have Carousel of Progress and Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln. Both of those experiences could easily be replaced with a new IP, but those are kept around because they are culturally significant. In removing Muppetvision, Disney is betraying their core identity.

I grew up with sesame street, it first aired when i was 5 years old. Kermit the frog was part of the cast. I remember watching the muppet show in the 70s. I agree it's time for it to go. I think it would be great to put it on Disney+ put don't really need to be in the parks. Things change. Park real estate is expensive!

Disney should just move The Cars show to where Stichs Escape ride is since it’s just collecting dust and relocate Muppets 3D over by Rockin Roller Coaster and just add a quick service restaurant in that area and call it Muppets Land

I understand you don’t have a tie to Muppets. This my generation that Muppets were big part of that it’s important to me. What I didn’t like is the last time I went to Hollywood Studios, I found out they closed the Muppet at 4 o’clock, and a little that I know. I let my children and my husband all go on the rides that they want and go see the things they wanted to do. When we got around what I wanted to do the Muppets and they were closed. ☹️ I was not a happy camper. Disney has been taking away from Muppets for years by close the merchandise shop. The last time it was at Hollywood Studios was right after Toy story opened, and all we did was walk through it. I haven’t seen Star Wars area at all. They got new food items and I think two or three drinks that are new at Olga’s canteen.

They didn’t do their inaugural sailing yet that is the 21st the sailing for this past week was a preview sailing for media and some influencers to test out things on the ship before paid guest go on

Because he is. Ships always do mini short 1-3 day trips for media, employees, investors etc. but it’s a 7 night cruise and the first full sailing, not just a mini with limited options is the one he’s going on. It’s the first public sailing and the first full 7 day sailing. That’s what an inaugural sailing is. The minis are called preview cruises and every sailing has them.

Not a fan of the swap...I've honeslty always thought the space would be great for a fun like Coco flying through the Alebrije world ride, with the glow in the dark, etc. but I guess whatever...Muppets is always a skip for us, so really could care less if it goes away, the retheme is kinda a bummer, I like Aerosmith, but I get it...

Hey Kyle, I grew up with both The Muppets & Arrow Smith. I still remember how blown away I was with Muppets 3D & Rock'n Rollercoaster was fun. But if you don't change, you get stagnant. We're getting a Muppets coaster and a hanging coaster - I'm excited for that. I agree it would be great to save the 3D show.

I'm glad to see the Little Mermaid coming back! In 2007 I made it to the final , final audition for Ariel for that show when Disney held auditions in NYC. The other girl got the part but they did offer to let me be Chip and or Dale 😂
