I got to be honest Kyle I’m moving to Sarasota in spring 2025. I’m not quite sure anymore. I grew up in Tarpon Springs the only hurricane I remember was Andrew in 92. It seems like recently the gulf is getting hit hard and it makes me nervous. I’m in an apartment and rent is complete spring 2025 for my year. Not sure if I should just buy home in Indiana and stay here. I was watching some videos last night and I cried just seeing John’s Pass in Madeira Beach completely destroyed really hurt. I grew up going there. I don’t know. Torn! I’m glad you guys are perfectly fine.

Parts of west NC near where Elisha grew up got leveled. The rivers flooded and completely washed out parts of towns. Almost all of Chimney Rock got washed away

Here in Ohio we lost power for 7 hours. Which typically I wouldn’t worry about but I have a newborn daughter and all her milk in the fridge & freezer was gonna go bad. I also have a pump I can’t use without electricity because it isn’t battery operated. Luckily my parents had power a few miles away so we took everything with us during that time. I’m so glad I didn’t have to dump all her milk. Praying for everyone who had it much much worse. Glad you are safe Kyle and Casey!

Up here in Jax, at least my corner of it, it was also mostly wind. Lots of it. Fortunately, nobody in my circle suffered any major damage, but I've seen footage of places that weren't so lucky. Hopefully, those actually impacted can recover relatively quickly and rebuild.

Our fence was destroyed in Augusta, GA but got lucky because 2 big trees fell in our neighbors yard and put a hole in their roof. We rent out our house and the renters said they aren’t expected to get power back for like a week. Very lucky though it was just our fence that got messed up.

Here in Pensacola, I got just a little bit of the wind and rain. I am thankful for nothing more than that as I currently have a broken toe, and I believe a broken rib. I slipped getting into a bathtub. This just happened on Tuesday morning.
