Honestly this is the first time since i have started playing overwatch ( which was years ago) i feel so close from quitting the game. Its so frustrating that the only character i genuinely enjoy playing feels horrible to play. Yes you can win a few games but mostly playing her feels off and playing other supports is even more frustrating 😭

Me and my friends don’t see any difference her staff hasn’t changed since S8, Her GA is only canceled if you jump or crouch, Her auto heal for hers increased, Same with her health and her gun hit box, Barely anything changed

And the same happened to other supports, lifeweaver also didn't change at all, illari even got a buff, but bc of the new meta all three of them feel horrible to play and lucio-zen are the to go picks

I hate learning Bap, I feel like I'm already spreading myself thin across the supports. . .I just want to fly fly and zoom zoom. Not sweat every game, hold left click and still get "needed more heals" from overextended DPS passive tagged teammates.

Honestly this might be the time to rework Mercy in similar way to ML7’s experimental patch in OW1. Valk as an ability and maybe not his version of Rez as an ult, but a different ult.

Yeah, I had that same feeling so I watched flats season 9 tier list and she was second to worst support rn before lifeweaver. IK it depends on comps etc, but it made sense from my gameplay experience. I tried my hand at bap who was in S tier, and mind you my experience and skill with bap is nowhere near as good as my mercy, and I was able to win both games I played with a good amount of heals-kills-assists

While every support suffers from the dps passive, mercy is the clear loser All other supps do high enough healing to still have impact, have aoe heals, or have low enough heals that 20% less doesn't matter much like brig inspire that only does 3hps less Mercy is single target heals, that was already not super strong, but strong enough that a 20% missing chunk of it is very noticable. Mercy is not in a good spot currently :(

Mercy feels pretty bad. Id wish they'd buff her healing output, or buff damage boost. Shes just a worse Zen at this point.

now it's so impossible to keep tank alive and they always fully go in relying on me they don't realize mercy got nerfed and it's impossible to keep them alive with high dmg unlike before now tank with two supports and still gets off'd fast

I’m still having so much fun playing mercy 😊 Yes it feels a bit different but not bad, imo. Everybody just has to adapt a little w how they play, especially when it comes to positioning.

People have GOT to stop complaining about the healing. Big numbers is what led to this unnecessary health increase in the first place. 1 single support should not be able to out heal damage. That was the problem before. Supports made things just not die, so they increase damage to compensate healing, but support mains don't like that so they increase healing more. Making it this numbers battle to the point where if a support ISN'T healing you just instantly explode, which made tank feel awful to play. And Blizz is too scared to just nerf heroes outright because all OW players do is complain once their precious heroes have 1 number changed.

i guess i’m one of the only ones who doesn’t think mercy feels bad this season. i’ve still been having a lot of fun and doing a lot of impact still, i don’t feel like her heals have caused me problems yet this season.

I think she's weak but honestly me too I think it's because I have to try harder and it's changed her playstyle to something I like. solo pocketing just isn't the best strat with her anymore imo.

In controller she’s worse her healing and support beam can’t get attached to people far we need to get REALLY close to the person and it takes SO MUCH TIME to switch beams I hope it’s a bug cuz I played on Pc everything worked but when I went into my ps4 she felt horrible to play idk if it’s just me and if I can do something about it!

Mercy S9 February 21: Her gun is the only thing that has changed February 13: Everyone’s health increased by 50 or 25, GA when crouching and/or jumping cancels it and its reduced to 1 sec instead of 1.5 seconds than auto healing your self is increased to 25 to 40 That’s it for S9 Nothing about Staff, Only healing yours got increased,GA got reduced, Gun’s size shrunk to 0.3 meters in total Yeah for me barely anything has changed for her

Love watching your videos and occasionally streams but man! 2 things, I've played a fair share of games around gold-plat, and high masters accounts as supports and dps but I've seen the same sentiment that fellow supports feel that healing is "useless" now as they can directly prevent a teammate from dying and instead they'd rather risk doing damage to support the team instead. It's problematic at time but I understand, although I feel like support is a much more involved role and you can just mindlessly heal and have impact. If I am strictly healing I can still punch out 10k+ per 10 min, and I had peaked this season with 22k healing (as Ana) in 15~ minutes. I feel supports may need adjustment but the general mentality of support players needs changing too. And for the SECOND THING I'm wanting to make "voiceless" videos like you, have you run into problems in the sense of community or others peoples view for not using your voice? I'm worried to almost the "black sheep" for being silent
