Hey Samantha. I found the best matches for the hydrating concealer was the tan sand as a skin shade match with the yellow undertone, and the medium neutral for a highlight. Medium neutral Is not neutral at all , it has a yellow undertone like the tan sand but its 1or 2 shades lighter. They do dry down differently from the original. And Medium Golden in the hydrating is an excellent neutral skin shade match for NC42 skin. They messed up with names

Thanks for the review! Off topic I used today the Colorpop x Frozen Anna palette and omg, it's so pretty! The packaging it's so lovely while still being cardboard and the colors are so wearable in there while still being so rich. I tend to hate purple, but the purple tones in there are so beautiful and soft I could cry. Not really but you know 🤣. I have 4 Colourpop palettes (brown sugar, it's my pleasure, JstmyLuck) and this one is hands down my favorite.

How often do you clean your sponges?...how often do you replace them?...do you dampen your sponge before applying your foundation?....do you have a specific brand or brands of sponges that you love?....just curious.

any sponge I'm using is always listed, and I always use it damp!

I know you were asking Samantha, but I clean my sponge before each use. Makeup sponges are a breeding ground for a lot of different bacterias so it’s important to make sure you always use a clean one on your face. I also tend to replace my makeup sponge every 4-5 months. I typically buy the Beauty Blender but it can def get expensive buying it multiple times a year. I usually buy a few at a time when Ulta has their 20% off sale. Otherwise, the RT sponge is good and I’ve heard good things about the green ecotools sponge.

With the sponge, you have to dampen it first. I made that mistake and hated how it absorbed up the foundation, but if you dampen it with water, it will work great. Thank you for your video!

I have heard complaints about the shade difference between the 24 hour and the hydrating concealer. I use the real techniques setting brush for highlight but I will try it for concealer.

I like this foundation, but I actually really like the Elf Acne fighting Foundation more. It's my current fav. They both have medium coverage but I think the acne one melts into the skin better, it's more light weight, I can apply with my hands and I don't have to set it. I don't have an exact match in either but they're so inexpensive that I can mix plus they go on sale often. The original camo is so dry I can't use it. Was hoping the hydrating one would work. Might have to try it anyway, to make sure. That's so much for the review! You are always great at giving the info and details!! -Annaleis

I found a suitable shade in Original Camo that was medium sand (medium? Really, elf?) And in the Hydrating version, I'm light peach. It really makes no sense!

Great review ! I never thought of purchasing the foundation. But the concealer yeah I think so. I wish on the ground I could find them easily (the have in Walmart but not all of them). Yeah I don’t see the difference between the 2 concealers (it looks the same to me )
